Pizzeria âGalijaâ is located in the very centre of the historic part of Split and close to the walls of the Diocletianâs Palace. It is the ideal place to rest and enjoy delicious food, after a long stroll through the meandering streets of the old city. Th
We ordered two pizzas: a four cheese and a simple margarita. After 40 minutes of waiting, we had to ask the waitress when we could expect to eat. 10 minutes later our pizzas arrived. The crust was hard as a rock and the pizza dough was so soft it seemed almost uncooked. The waitress was nice, but to get a seat, we had to just walk into the restaurant, as opposed to standing outside in line waiting for a waitress to approach us (like a group of people where doing). And to top it off, the price of the pizza plus a beer almost matched London prices. Would not recommend this place even if the pizza was for free.

Every time we are in Split we come here for the pizza. It is the best pizza we had in restaurants. The service is also good, you don't have to wait a lot. Truly recommend it.

.. an authentic, family owned local restaurant and pizzeria. All of our food is homemade using local products from nearby farms, fish markets and bakeries. And of course our own olive oil, pressed the day it's picked from our small grove.
Having walked miles around Split in 32 degrees it was time for food!! We chanced upon Senjska street and all the eateries there. What to eat?!!!The pizzeria seemed busy, open to the street and happy diners. We sat inside in the cool and the men had a large beer each and us girls sparkling water. Extensive menu so took some time to choose. I opted for the feral pizza. Iâm not a great pizza lover but was impressed by the pizzas coming out of the kitchen and the name! Others chose the pork medallions in a creamy mushroom sauce. One with chips, one with veg. The other a meat pizza. My pizza was light and tasty. Salmon, artichoke and olives made unusual partners but rather tasty. I had to leave two slices as it beat me!! Others loved their dishes. Hubby had a small carafe of red with his dish and the total came to 392 Kuna. Very reasonable for what we had to eat. Nice clean loo too!

This is located a bit out of the historical center and looks a bit shady. But we gave it a shot and it totally surprised us. The staff was friendly. The pizza were cheap, delicious and baked in an stone oven. Inside the restaurant it was cosy.

Visited here last week and so glad we did. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had soup to start then we both had the steak cooked on the stone. Could not fault it for flavour plus price. Highly recommend

Walked in through City Entrance ( Big Statue ), young lady offering Menu just inside- polite , not pushy:First left and we entered an atmospheric courtyard: Restaurant on the left , checked out the Menu and another delightful Lady explained the menu .We were ready to eat and picked a table :My Wife had a risotto and I had a Chicken Dish : Both were great with a couple of beers: Service was great and two coffees and Gelato complimented the meal nicely: Pleasantly priced and would come again:Recommend definitely:
