Wine bar & wine shop with dalmatian tapas food; prosciutto and cheese.
We were fortunate enough to happen upon this little gem in Ston what a wonderful place. The owner is knowledgeable about the wine and area in general. He also helped recommend an excellent restaurant in town. If you want to taste some of the best wines on offer from the region at one stop then this is the place. You can also get some small snacks with you wine here. Thanks Dario for such amazing service, we had a fantastic time!

Visit us and relax on our terrace perched high on the cliff edge. Choose between daily fresh fish, unique Ston oysters, local shellfish or a number of meat dishes. Try some local wines, sit back and enjoy spectacular views of the crystal clear sea.
My family and I have been in Croatia for 5 days and have finally found an authentic restaurant that serves amazing food and has impeccable service. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I'm not normally one to write reviews, but this restaurant is one that deserves to be recognised. We ate out on the balcony of the restaurant with a beautiful view of Prapratno. Here are some photos of the delicious dishes that we ordered and our experience. We will definitely be back again soon.

The waitress was very polite and helpful(owner) very nice experiance. I eat lots of shells but this one in Peljašac area was the best.

The "Kapetanova kuca" restaurant is situated on the most attractive location on the Mali Ston waterfront. The name was derived and chosen as such due to the fact that it was the centre and dwelling place of the Mali Ston Guard Captain. The "Kapetanova kuc
A small restaurant in the harbour of Ston. The oysters are cultivated in the sea right across the street. A very small town but Iâm glad we stopped in. The waiters were very friendly. The second longest wall in the world can be seen behind it

My wife and I had a reasonable lunch first so decided that we'd take the family there the next day. 11 of us incl 5 children (ages 3 to 8)--we clarified that we wanted the childrens lunch portion and ordered 3 lunches for the 5 to share. Unfortunately when the bill came the price was stratospheric so after a long and painful argument we finally managed to reduce it however we would not return due to this overchargeDear David,we are very sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations at your second visit. We would highly appreciate if you could send us a direct message with further details so that we can take this up internally. Of course it is not our intend to overcharge and the waiters are advised to act as customer friendly as possible. A case as explained above is absolutely not what we want our customers to experience. If you return to Ston please feel free to step in we would be happy to invite you for a drink to discuss this matter in person.

We ate here twice during our week in Croatia, once for lunch and once for dinner. Excellent both times. Good portions of excellent tasty food and very good friendly service. The first time we chose the 'Bakus' mixed whitefish and shellfish, all of which was superb. The second time we had a mixture of dishes including black risotto with crayfish, scampi, mussels buzara and fried small fish. Again all were excellent. The restaurant also provided a light appetiser and a digestif liqueur 'on the house' which was a nice touch. A very popular restaurant frequented by locals and tourists.

Was here with my girlfriend for a dinner, staff was friendly and quick and food was good even if rice was slightly undercookedBut be very carefull when ordering, not serving tap water only bottled which would be fine if they actually sell bottled water.. we recieved opened bottle with dirt inside, clear sign they refill thw botllesMain meals dont have side courses..waiter will ask what would you like with your meal(fries, rice etc) but will charge it extraAll in all food was not bad but i feel it is a tourist trap

Fantastic food and hosts! This is definitely the best restaurant in Croatia! You can choose fresh fish the host himself caught and prepared while we were drinking great wine and looking at the sunset. It's priceless! And great cakes for desert! Pure hedonism! We are definitely going there again! Hosts are so polite and fun. It's like the time has stopped, such a casual atmosphere! Anyone who appreciates homemade food will love this place. We have seen many places this summer, but nothing like this! We'll see you next year!P.S. Since this restaurant is so great and popular you have to make a reservation at least a couple of days before.
