Find out what European restaurants to try in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik has recovered from the war damage it suffered during the 1990s, and visitors have returned to this tranquil city. Nestled between the Adriatic and the Dinaric Alps, it’s an accessible and affordable city break for many European travelers. The pedestrian-only Old Town is especially charming.

Fine dining romantic restaurant with perfect location on Main Street Of Dubrovnik - Stradun. Mediterranean, European, Croatian, Seafood. Vegetarian Friendly.
This beautiful little restaurant is lovingly and quietly managed by a team of extremely well informed people. Our first visit was to see if we could eat there later in the day, but as luck would have it, they were managing a party of 30 that night ( it really didn't look big enough for 30!)We chose the following night. Our meal was all we hoped for. . . . . really excellent and delicious. It's not the cheapest place in town, but remember - - - you get what you pay for!

A small Wine bar in located in Dubrovnik's Old Town, with a quality selection of croatian wines and food platters that match perfectly. A nice quiet spot in the Za rokom street, number 11. Get away from Old Town's crowded streets and have a drink with us!
Iâm really sorry because to write this feedback because the waiter He was genuinely a kind guy but these people have no idea about how to manage a restaurant/wine bar. I donât want to talk about price/quality ratio because as 99% of place of Dubrovnik itâs crazy but you just canât play to be a wine bar if you take 1 hour (I swear 1 hour) to bring a plate of cold appetizer (like cold cuts or cheese). 2 girls working with <15 customers and 10 âplatesâ on the menu where the most complicated one is a bruschetta. Câmon you kidding me? Once we received the food we had to wait 15 more minutes for drinks that obviously we finished waiting for the food. Food just on average.Dear F1268NKandreac,We appreciate your feedback regarding your experience. We are sorry you waited longer than usual for food at our bar. As our video surveillance camera shows you waited longer than half an hour but not really an hour, still it's much longer than expected. Unfourtunately it's peak of season and mistakes do happen and we apologise once again for the inconvenience. We hope that, aside from this experience, you had a good time in Dubrovnik.Best regards,

This restaurant is built into Dubrovnik's city walls and overlooks the water--very beautiful location. The chef is extremely creative and courses are presented beautifully by very knowledgeable servers. We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the food very much. The restaurant has a Michelin star so you certainly expect a great experience. The one criticism we have is that too much time was spent explaining each dish resulting in the food not being at a temperature we would have liked. Possibly the cool evening breezes played a part in that also. Definitely a beautiful place to visit and the food is art. Make reservations as early as possible--preferably 30 days ahead. You can easily do this on line.Dear Ellen Gthank you for visiting our restaurant and for the time taken to tell us about your dining experience. We are pleased you enjoyed the evening at overall and look forward to seeing you again with best regards

We booked a table about six weeks before our visit and the only time we could get was for 9pm. There was a nice homely feel to the place, the waiter was friendly and service efficient. We both enjoyed starters, I had the fish pate and my husband had an amazing steak for main while I had pork wrapped in bacon. All dishes were beautifully served. I was gutted I didn't leave room for dessert.I would say prices are on a par with the UK and it was a great treat for our last night I'm Dubrovnik.

We had the 8 course tasting menu with Croatian wine pairings whilst dining out for the evening in Dubrovnik. The situation on a roof top terrace in the old town was peaceful and created a sophisticated ambiance that the food matched. The menu had variety and the quality of cooking was very high. The service was enthusiastic and professional which enhanced our experience. We throughly enjoyed our tasting menu meal at Restaurant Dubrovnik.Dear 28richardg,thank you so much for your lovely recommendations. Nautika Restaurant lies on the very edge of the sea at Pile, alongside the entrance to Dubrovnik's Old City. From its unique terraces, diners can enjoy a truly one-of-a-kind view of the Adriatic and the fortresses of Lovrijenac and Bokar. The restaurant's
"Dubrovnik's Finest Restaurant" - and indeed it is!The very location recommends Nautika for a special evening: view and atmosphere are outstanding and create the perfect setting for fine dining. The tasteful décor of the restaurant and the highly professional staff create a cultivated framework for the excellent cuisine. F&B Manager Tomislav Lonac had the kindness to show around and explain the design considerations - justly proud of the distinguished restaurant he himself was a true representative of.Placed on the terrace on a warm October evening, we had chosen the 5-course fish menu with accompanying wines - and this proved a perfect choice indeed, excellent to the very detail. The service and information given by our evening's host Valentino on the Croatian wines, olive oils, the individual dishes was outstanding; we together enjoyed an unusually pleasant 'food experts' discussion of ingredients and potential variations. Nautika is an special experience - and a very special memory. All respect and admiration for the outstanding team; it would be our greatest pleasure to return one day.Dear Gabriella JR, Thank you very much for your valuable time to write a candid review of our Nautika restaurant. It is always heart-warming to hear that our cuisine and gorgeous views were greatly enjoyed. We would like to use this opportunity also to thank you once again for being our guests. We are extremely pleased to hear you enjoyed "al fresco" dining in mid-October and our service which focuses on attention to details. Looking forward to welcoming you again in Nautika restaurant we send our kindest regards,Mario RaicGeneral Manager

Best Of What's Around! Restaurant operates from April until October We look forward to hear from you! Kindest regards BOWA Team
My husband and I made a reservation for a private cabana and tasting menu experience when planning our anniversary holiday in Croatia. We had one day available in our itinerary to experience BOWA while on Sipan island, and when the day of our reservation arrived, the weather forecast was not ideal. The amazing staff at BOWA accommodated our reservation regardless of the forecasted rain and wind, even though all of their other reservations were moved to another day. We chose to take the rugged path from Sudurad, and that was an experience in and of itself; winding through nature with stone walls and heavy brush flanking your sides, and then all of a sudden the path drops you right into the heart of the BOWA experience. Due to the forecast we were the only two people present aside from the staff, and we felt like the luckiest two people in the world that day because it never even rained. The chef selected tasting menu was a culinary delight and each course was a complete surprise. Ivan, our server, was superb. He was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the local sources of our menu and recommended a fantastic bottle of wine to accompany it. Our BOWA experience exceeded all expectations, and has been a highlight of our holiday in Croatia.

We were pleasantly surprised by this nice restaurant. Once we had figured out how to get in (via the outside steps, as its completely abandoned inside!), we were greeted very warmly. The service remained very friendly and attentive for the entire duration of the meal, and it was definitely one of the best service experiences we had in Croatia. Their homemade bread and olive oil was delicious and all of us were really happy with our food - it was all really good!

Visited this restaurant bar purely for afternoon drinks. Afternoon drinks ended up being dinner too and plenty more drinks. The waiters are brilliant and very friendly. Our waiter Ado was the sweetest man! He provided such a fantastic and friendly service and we did not want to leave. Food was amazing and the cocktails were lovely. The whole atmosphere was just brilliant. Definitely recommend!
