Having driven past a couple of times, we called in for a Sunday evening meal. There were chickens, which looked tempting, on the immense outdoor grills but we opted for pork which was delicious. It comes with potatoes which have been cooked underneath the rotisserie, so have absorbed the flavour of the meat. We also had a mixed salad to share (which helps to cut through the richness of the meat and potatoes) and a side of mushrooms which, although very tasty, were unnecessary as the portions were so huge we just couldn't make a dent in them! However, all in all really good value for money and our waiter was brilliant - very humorous and helpful.

Cosy street bar & restaurant with live music, great atmosphere, urban food and great choice of cocktails!
This place is a great place to have dinner. Hamburgers are very very good and we had the pleasure of enjoying a band on Friday night with music from the 50s

Mildly worried when we walked in and nobody paid any attention to us.10 mins to get a menu (the couple who arrived after us waited 20 mins in silence - more fool them!).After nearly an hour after ordering we asked if the food would be served. Within 5 mins two excellently prepared dishes arrived as ordered....Was the restaurant:A. Overwhelmed by customers and unable to serve them all?B. Understaffed on a busy evening?C. Our order had been forgotten?D. Poorly managed?Yes, we were offered a free coffee/digestif but really couldnât be bothered to suffer yet more of a wait.We left feeling that the staff were not surprised by our less than enthusiastic farewell - clearly not the first time diners had been subjected to a similar experience. We apologize for the the wait you had to endure. I was personally waitng your table and I tried to explain the situation to you. We are glad that at least the food was excellently peprared. It's not that we are poorly mananged or overwhelmed or that your order was forgotten. The problem is that withing the last few days we had a sudden departure of some our staff, and we are still adapting and trying to make the best we can. I myself am working 12 hour shifts. So I apologize in the name of all of us, and next time you are in town you get a whole dinner on the house.Josip

In this place, on city seafront, near sea organ, you can choose your favourite type of burger, which are very tasty. Those burgers are definitely most delicious i have ever tried. And except that, you can choose some of croatian craft beers, which are great with burgers, or homemade lemonade. Very nice place :)Thanks a lot Ana

We had an excellent dinner - quality ingredients, very well cooked on the grill that is very much part of the dining of the area. Really enjoyed the simplicity of steak and chips accompanied by grilled courgette and peppers, washed down with a draft Karlovacko, the local lager. Highly recommended

We have been in Croatia for 6 days and eaten really good food everywhere we have been. This however was better than everything else. Great value and really tasty. Huge portions, to the point we had a shared platter for 2 between 4 of us and it was plenty. The meat was so perfectly cooked on the outside grill, it was amazing. We were very lucky to get a table even inside, so if you want a table on the veranda, you definitely have to book.

Excellent choice of steak, we had the smallest about 300grams. I had fillet with truffle sauce and roasted vegetables, my husband had ribeye, both cooked perfectly-medium . Exceptional quality, 4 stars as wine was not well chilled . We would come back.

Oh, how I wish I had more time in Zadar to go back to Gricko Grill. It's comfortable, affordable, friendly and delicious. Hubby and I went here on a recommendation from our boat guide. After 9 hours touring the Kornati Islands we didn't exactly feel dressed for dinner out, but we felt very comfortable here the moment we arrived. it was an easy walk from the marina. Such a lovely find.
