A very small cafe situated in the main square. I believe that upstairs/behind is a hostel with the same name.If sitting outside, the view is lovely but the traffic is quite busy. However, the traffic mainly consists of little buses and mopeds, so not too distracting. If you're sitting outside, you can also expect the occasional interruption from hawkers selling their wares.Whatever you order of the menu will be freshly cooked. The avocado with wontons is recommended. This place will make damages to order also. Service is prompt but slightly surly. There are loads of places like this in the area, but this place has the view and an air of authenticity which is lacking elsewhere.
We went to this restaurant after an awesome but tiring day of hiking up the Macchu Picchu hill. Had dinner at this place and it was exactly what we needed! A mixture of Italian and fast food, delicious, freshly-made with love and at a better price than the restaurants on the main square of Ollantaytambo, as the name "Baratie" suggests. We had spaguetti bolognese and a pizza, which they were so nice to accompany with garlic bread. It was delicious and filling. Definitely restored our hungry bodies after a long day. Also has wifi, which came in very handy. Recomendado!

If you are actually doing research and considering this restaurant, then let me help you decide. Donât go and avoid the frustrating event that will happen when you pay your bill. The reason for my review is to warn you that this restaurant automatically charges you 10%for service. I was in peru for almost 3 weeks and this was the only time tipping was included in the bill which made the experience unpleasant. (We did tip throughout our trip but we do not like being imposed to tip) When we asked the waiter what the 10% was for he answered: âservice and hot waterâ... we ended up paying it cuz it wasnt worth the hassle to contest it and we probably would have tip the same amount...As for the food, My gf and i thought that the food was average at best and on the expensive side. Again, We usually dont mind paying more just as long as the quality of the food justifies the premium price. However, la perlaâs food is too salty and the premium you pay is for being close to the city centre and not for the foodI suggest leaving the restaurant, walking towards the right for a couple of minute and buy some of those street anticuchos (i.e kebabs/skewers)Hello Yulbichioe, I sorry to heat that, but we dont charge 10% I think you did I mistake with your review. We never charger 10% here. And the price of the food is the same here in all restaurant. We are very old, tradicional restaurant, here. Everybody who came here, like the food and the service - Thanks La Perla Resto Bar Craft beer Pizzas

Is a very cozy and warm place, because we have a wood-fired oven that serves to make the pizzas and some typical dishes of the area.We also have free WI FI.
If you're going to eat pizza in Ollantaytambo, you need to know beforehand that you won't be getting anything like deep dish or thick crust Chicago style pizza - far from it - but pretty much the exact opposite. So once you've accepted that razor thin pizza is the norm in Peru, this place was pretty good. Be sure to order a size up (XL instead of L, or L instead of M) to compensate for the lack of dough, or you will leave hungry. Most places don't put much sauce on their pizza either, so expect to get your flavor from the toppings - ham and pineapple in my case. Also, the young boy who was my server was very nice and A for his effort.
The best Peruvian, Italian and Mexican food in the hands of kitchen professionals. Our diners recommend our tasty variety.
The Nachos are very crispy, the source with it is excellent, best I have here in Peru so far, highly recommanded. And you can see the kitchen from the hall, actually, with good view of the plaza and the mountains if you sit at the table outside.Thank you for your visit. We will wait for you. Come back soon!

Il Piccolo Forno is a little pizzeria-restaurante. We offer many homemade foods to go or stay and gluten free options for pizzas, lasagnas and cookies. We have also sell local organic products, sich as caffee, chocolate, jama and olive oil.
We happened upon this little place, after being ignored at Chuspa (lucky for us). The pizza is super-thin crust and baked right in front of you in a small wood-fired oven (A.K.A. Il Piccolo Forno). I think it was cooked for maybe two minutes. There was one young girl running the whole restaurant; cooking pizza, taking orders, cashier â impressive! The pizza was tasty and washed down nicely with cold beer. Very affordable dinner with no frills.
