Il Piccolo Forno is a little pizzeria-restaurante. We offer many homemade foods to go or stay and gluten free options for pizzas, lasagnas and cookies. We have also sell local organic products, sich as caffee, chocolate, jama and olive oil.
We happened upon this little place, after being ignored at Chuspa (lucky for us). The pizza is super-thin crust and baked right in front of you in a small wood-fired oven (A.K.A. Il Piccolo Forno). I think it was cooked for maybe two minutes. There was one young girl running the whole restaurant; cooking pizza, taking orders, cashier â impressive! The pizza was tasty and washed down nicely with cold beer. Very affordable dinner with no frills.

The vibe here is great, the food is excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We came in a group of six and happened to talk to them before dinner and ordered guinea pig in advanced, and it was fresh and very well done. Out of the few restaurants we tried here this was by far the best.

Chuncho is a Restaurant & Bar that serves up ancestral Peruvian food made from 100% local ingredients and produce. This is a great place to discover traditional food from the Cusco region in a comfortable and original environment. The best option to try t
First of all, it is not cheap. They say it is more expensive because of use of local products. However we visited same type of restaurants before in Peru and their prices were not that high. So either the farmers profit here more, or the restaurant. So a bit of a lame excuse. The drinks are even more expensive, and no wine is being served. Personally I find cocktails not the ideal drink that complements a meal and these were quite expensive. And Peru has wine, so a bit of a disappointment. But anyway, food was actually quite simple but tasty. The only problem was that the tasting starter was almost identical to my main course, except it had the chicken. This could have been pointed out by the waiter. Since I ate the filled pepper, potatoes, quinoa pancakes twice. Chicken was also not very tender and I had better. But the most annoying part was the timing. We got our started within 10 min. And we barely finished this and immediately got the main course. Very annoying and this might fit with the American clientele who are used to finishing a dinner within 30 min. But this is certainly not ok with Europeans who see dinner as an experience. So all in all, it was not as good as we expected.

Wonderful little restaurant. Visited here after reading some of the reviews and we are very glad that we did. We shared an appetizer and each got a main course. Plenty of food! Would highly recommend and visit again. The atmosphere and food felt authentic.

We´ve Moved, Now We Are Located In Front Of The Santiago Apostol Church, Just Across The Bridge, Second Floor.
After reading the reviews, we decided it might be a good idea to reserve a table, however shortly after we arrived we were the only group left. This was not a problem, however, as we enjoyed the quiet. Service was very attentive, waiter incredibly friendly with excellent English and the restaurant had a lovely relaxed, family feel. Food was delicious, huge portions, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Brilliant value and well worth the slightly higher price tag.

The best place to take a break before getting on the train and go to Machupicchu.
Blue Magic is just off the main square. This quaint resturant has a multitude of local favorites including Guinea Pig. There is a large selection to choose from, all created with fresh ingredients. Very good prices for the amount of food you receive. We started with a veggie broth soup with avocado, which hit the spot with the wind blowing as dusk. The Alpaca burger was perfectly prepared, with grilled veggies, and egg and bacon piled on top. All accompanied by hand cut French fries. The shredded chicken served in a lite spiced sauce with chicken and rice. 75 soles ($26 to $27 USD including tip!Great place to rest, relax and enjoy beautifully prepared food

Four of us went here for dinner and had a lovely meal. Their Pisco Sours were super-sized and the meals very generous and delicious. Served on cute wooden trays in the shape of mountains. Slightly slow service but that seems to be the norm around here

We were taken here by guide, Cynthia (Pure Peru). The food is phenomenonal - local ingredients (most of the veg & salad is from the kitchen garden) and the drinks were brilliant too! Definitely the best place to eat at in Ollaytaytambo and super conveniently located in the train station. We had the locro (pumpkin & cheese stew), 3 meat grill (alpaca, beef & lamb perfectly cooked) and the garden vegetable salad. Finished off with cheesecake, cornbread with berries and Peruvian cacao brownie. Our waitress Silvia was a delight and very attentive & gregarious. Highly recommended (I'm a chef).Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us. We appreciate your wonderful feedback and will be sure to share your compliments with Silvia and the rest of our team. We hope you had a wonderful time in the Sacred Valley and look forward to your future visits. Saludos and safe travels!

Chuspa Pizzeria Restaurant, is one of the best place to eat a typical food and delicious wood fired pizza. Excellent and personalized attention like at home.
Chuspa is awesome. If restaurants would have personalities then this one would be down to earth. Itâs a quaint and quiet little restaurant in the corner of the plaza with toy alpacas cutely decorated on every table. The service staff/owners are discrete and polite. Everything we ate was delicious. I had two juices - maracuya and golden berries. They were rich with flavors. The vegetarian pizza was yummy and I definitely recommend trying the corn and cheese with criolla sauce dish. Itâs the first time I ate a corn dish in Peru during all my travels and it didnât disappoint. The coffees are good too. Highly recommended restaurant.
