Under New Friendly and Helpful Management. Sanctuary Beach Resort is on absolute beachfront here at Currumbin Beach, Gold Coast, Australia. We have a variety of unique 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom fully self contained units with the complex having direct access to the beach with no roads to cross. Enjoy our beautiful pool, surrounding gardens and family BBQ areas, or take a hit of tennis on our court. We have delightful local cafes and boutiques located on Pacific Parade, which is a three minute walk along the beach. The Iconic Currumbin Vikings Surf Club is also located just three minutes up the beach with 180 degree views of the Pacific ocean. You can see clearly all the way from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta on the top of the Elephant Rock lookout, and the famous Currumbin Alley is only a further 5 minutes walk along the beach, a surfing mecca. The complex has secure basement carparking and is across the road from the popular Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Please note we have stair access only!

Reviewed By jackknobelgreat position on the walkway at Currumbin. excellent facilities , well equiped with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Foxtel and pay TV channels. We preferred the ground floor unit at the front which had a 30 second walk to the sand. 10 minute walk into Tugun for restaurants and a lot of coffee shops for breakfast nearby. Best restaurant in the area is Tommys( italian ), only 5-10 mins walk.

Very impressive unit
Reviewed By Jennie TVery impressed with renovations in 8G, done to a high standard. Well equipped with everything you need. Comfortable leather furniture, main bed is electric, fabulous for reading and having tea. Excellent view. Planes going over a bit noisy. Really enjoyed our stay.

Noisy, smelly & hot!
Reviewed By 886iainlApartments are right on the jet path into Coolangatta Airport, from 6AM till 11PM you will get the jet noise & smell of jet exhaust. Balcony overlooks the settling pond from the Currumbin bird sanctuary next door, open the door the stench is unbearable, close the door & you swelter as there is no A/C & the one ceiling fan is useless.

OVERPRICED RORT, NOT RESORT!
Reviewed By Warriors2020The unit was dirty to boot, noisy as hell, and premises must’ve been designed by a blind person! The management were rude beyond belief! My daughter had saved her pocket money and purchased her mother jewellery, which was left behind, and the woman had the audacity to ask if it was real or not! Does that matter??? She accused me of saying they were thieves, which I did not! All I asked was that the premises was searched and I know damn well we’re it was left. My daughter was so upset, I had to replace the gift for her mother. The guy was rude also and mouthed off at me when going through door. Most unprofessional people in my book. Steer clear of this overpriced dump by all means! I’d rather sleep in a clothing bin than The Hills Apartments!!!

Beautiful apartment but odd ends
Reviewed By Tamara LWe booked this appartement because it was the best value for our budget. We end up paying more than the price on the bookings site. We paid $985 for 3 nights instead of $880. We booked for 6 adults and 2 kids but there was not enough beds. We had to pay $35 for an extra single bed (per night) which was just a mattress on the floor and not even a blanket with it. When we asked for Wi-Fi they pulled a face and said it's difficult but possible if we pay extra. Not having Wi-Fi is not a problem if you are from Australia but I had family from overseas who didn't have an Australian sim card yet. Another obstacle was parking space. We only had one space available but obviously with a booking for 8 people we didn't all came in one car. On the bright side: The apartment was big, nice and clean with a beautiful view of the lagoon.
