This must be one of the best restaurants in town. Beautiful table presentation ,family run ,with excellent food. We dined on melanzana, mozzarella and pomodoro as a starter and had curried beef for the main course which was well spiced and delightful . A Nebbiola from a local vineyard complemented the meal perfectly. Outside ambiance is great with views .
Will return

Michelin is perhaps more enamored of this restaurant than the Tripadvisor family (including me). The wine selection is fabulous and fairly priced. Our food selections, on one of their menus, were competent, but nothing to write home about. The service, by a very young wait staff, was efficient but rather detached. The menu changes, I understand frequently. I suspect some dishes will be excellent, and others, like ours, well prepared, but not memorable.
The prices are in keeping with a no nonsense osteria. The clientele appears to include plenty of locals and regulars, which is a good sign. It is a reliable place for an everyday meal, but we will try other local options before returning.

I have to admit that I like Cuneo :-) Always stay in Lovera Palace Hotel and this tiume I had dinner at Christians Place.
Warm welcome by the chef, table already set with some nice antipasti, a warm bread with cheese filling, very good grilled peppers in oil, grissini and bread in a real good quality. Followed by a smal warm appetizer, stuffed ravioli and a small pancake with herbs. One had pasta (Tagliatelle with basil and zucchini) the other a great (in any respect ;-)) fillet of beef with potato sticks and eggplant, perfect quality and a perfectly grilled. Cheese to end a very good dinner.
Reservation necessary, don't miss it if you are in Cuneo!

Had dinner & drinks here this evening. Everyone was OUTSTANDING. What a great place. You need to make a reservation because if you do not there will not be a table available. Everything was perfect.

When you first step in, the atmosphere and setting are underwhelming and look a bit cheap (sparse and plastic) but you get used to it. The menu is diverse and the dishes try to be more haute cuisine than they taste, but it tastes good regardless. They fill up your bread basket even after a little nibble and the service is very quick and good. No complaints here.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at I Morri. Dinner is served in traditional Piemontese manner: no menu; antipasti are brought to you and you take what you want, then the primo and secondo. All were very well prepared. Service was very good and the restaurant is attractive and filled with local diners. When you hear Piemontese being spoken in a restaurant, you know the food will be great.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. Whilst it took some time to locate it, our wanderings were well worth the effort.
Luckily there was a spare table, the place was full of locals it seemed - always a good sign.
We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was absolutely delightful - full of good humor, friendly and
attentive.
All staff were helpful, explaining the menu and suggesting the wines we might like to order.
The restaurant had a really positive atmosphere and the decor etc provided a warm and relaxing ambience.
The language barrier only added to the experience - as I said, the owner was an absolute delight in his approach to us.
The food was superb, presentation of each dish was wonderful and most importantly was of the highest quality. The four of us each had a different entree and main so we all got to try each other's meals. The wine was also excellent and complimented our dishes.
The dinner, overall, was inexpensive as far as we were concerned.
A most delightful, "entertaining" and enjoyable evening.

Welcome! We are a small restaurant, unassuming star or guides, with the warm heart and a smile. No molecular cuisine or trendy. Solidity Piedmontese style. Sober. Local ingredients and possibly organic or fair trade. The food is good and you'll spend the right (in our opinion). Without hurry but without pause is our motto. We believe in a kitchen (and a life) good, clean and fair. Be welcome to our home! It's a pleasure to have you guests! We want you to enjoy our food with your family or with your friends. We like your suggestions, talk to us! It will be usefull listen to your ideas on how to improve! If you are well talk to everyone! If there is something wrong, talk to us! Refrain those seeking the "so cheap". Refrain Criticon and anonymous brave fingers behind the screen.
Found ourselves passing through Cuneo, and stumbled into this restaurant for dinner. So glad we did, because it was the best meal of a two-week Europe trip which had plenty of excellent meals. Seasonal autumn produce, making use of local chestnuts and hazelnuts throughout the meal - the veal with hazelnut sauce was amazing, tender, delicious. Chef is jovial and friendly, staff speak good English, we were made to feel very welcome.

The menu makes no concessions if you are not Italian but we saw that as a good sign and happily were proved right. We were most professionally welcomed by the owner and the language barrier was not a problem. After our aperitif we ordered the selection of starters and then our main course. This was preceded with some local ham and then the antipasti of steak tartare, crusty pastry filled with courgettes with cheese sauce and asparagus mousse....all were superb. I had crusted cod in a cauliflower and broccoli purée with roasted vegetables that had a deep flavour. My wife enjoyed asparagus and Parma ham and an egg cocotte in cheese sauce. We washed this down with an excellent local Bottle of Langhe Arneis and the whole bill was less than 70 euros. The service was excellent and it was telling that we were the only non Italians in a packed restaurant and the clientele looked to be fellow foodies who know their onions or the Italian equivalent. An excellent choice if you happen to be in the wonderful location of Cueno.

We only stopped briefly in Cuneo. We walked through the romantic streets. Somewhat out of the centre we just walked into this restaurant. We had a simple but great meal. It was delicous. The staff is very friendly. The meals are Genovese style. Prices were very reasonable.
