Top quality rices, good service and moderate prices for the quality on offer. It is not really cheap, but cheaper (and probably better) than the better known rice restaurant in Cullera (Casa Salvador). The restaurant is by the road linking el Perello and Cullera, in a small farming village. Thankfully it has its own parking, which you can enter some 100 metres down the road in the direction of Cullera, already outside the village. The small side street leads you back to the (back) restaurant entrance. On the day of my visit the restaurant was full of locals eating all types of paellas from the centre of the table (as it is supposed to be done). If you are planning to go for a Sunday (and may be Saturday) lunch, you should book. It is the kind of restaurant that will tend to fill up to the brim for lunch during weekends.

Reference restaurant , modern and cozy, beachfront , with sea views from anywhere in the restaurant. On the seafront of San Antonio Bay . Local air-conditioned and with a beautiful Terrace. Mediterranean cuisine and cuisine with the finest ingredients. We have carte and daily menu , select wine and the best cocktails. Open all year Events and celebrations with custom menus and quality assurance of La Cava Baja
I've had a fish and it was very good. There was a leak on the air conditioning, and it was leaking just above my table. Apart of this, everything was good.

Cullera is not supposed to be a very fashionable place: crowded Beaches surrounded by mostly ugly appartment buildings. However, the Estany de Cullera (a lake connected to the sea) is enterely different, peaceful and quiet. Casa Salvador displays a Terrace overlooking the eastern bank of the Estany. Its ideal romantic setting will make the delight of young -and not-so-young lovers, especially at sunset: This comes at a price, of course and so does the impecable quality of food and service.
Paellas -and rice in its multiple preparations- are usually NOT ordered for dinner. However you have the choice of many other excellent dishes. I was there with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had fresh red schrimp from Denia (a delicacy that sells at 9 euros apiece ), scallops, mussels, fried eel and a fabulous filet mignon on foie gras. The choice of desserts was limited and mostly uninteresting. We accompanied our dinner with a bottle of a standard gewurztraminer (my wife's choice). I would have ordered, instead, a bottle of white wine from the Marina Alta (Alicante) a perfect match for fish and seafood. I did not insist because I was driving and, therefore, drinking just a small glass. Beware of roads taking you to Casa Salvador; they are narrow and heavily trafficked by cars, and bikes!
We paid 130 euros and kept absolutely no regrets.

Restaurant near the sea (Raco beach in Cullera). Mediterranean cuisine with touches of signature cuisine, extensive wine cellar, production of premium gin and tonics. Events and celebrations, private dining, small playroom. Ocean view, to carry rice. Handicapped access, WiFi, chill-out Terrace and outdoor Terrace for smokers
My sister wanted seafood paella by the beach for her birthday and a friend recommended this restaurant and what a great choice it was.
Beautiful setting, lovely interior and quality fittings.
The food was truly excellent. We started with carpaccio of pork with mustard ice cream and deep fried fish balls.
Then the most stunning seafood paella - just what the sister ordered.
Finally a mix of desserts and coffee.
Add in two bottles of wine
.... all of this for 6 people and cost only €150
Very highly recommended

We all took the menu of the day... : steamed mussels and a paella Valenciana. Off course accompanied with bread and tomato, and with our drinks they brought us some cheese as well...
All was very tasty though I have to say that, the paella was definitely not bad at all, but we are too spoiled with paella's, having a friend who is a professional 'arroces' cook...!! (Paella specialist).
The athmophere was very good, the staff extremely friendly and they all spoke acceptable English... (Very un-Spanish, both things!!!)
Can highly recommend this establishment... Will easily come back another time!!!

They have just reopened after a break, so we booked a table and a sea food paella. Arrived as agreed. Paella was mediocre very little added fish. Service was ok , we had to ask for the paella to be served to us. All our dessert choices were unavailable!! Didn't bother waiting for coffee. Would I go back? Not on this holiday. I would have expected that after a period of closure, they would make more of an effort to make the dining experience more inviting. The failing atmosphere was made worse by the absence of background music and three of the four staff visibly on their mobile phones. At eu50, for paella , 1/2 l sangria. Two glasses of wine and a bottle of water with the paella it was not great value. Definitely room for improvement.

A hidden gem in Cullera. Very close to the light house. The best appetizers and delicious 100% valencian paella.
The service: very helpful staff.
Parking: it has its own private parking lot (difficult to find in Cullera).
I definately recommend to go and give it a try!
