My wife and I like to try out different restaurants in upper michigan and northern wisconsin. Some friends told us about this one and how they really enjoyed the fish fry. We went last saturday and I ordered the prime rib, which should be cooked medium rare, it was dry and gray. My wife got a salad because they only have fish available on fridays, and an appetizer of chicken pieces with a garlic cheese sauce. It was the pieces of chicken fat and gristle that the chef was trying to use as an appetizer to get a few extra bucks . Will not be going there again

Last year on vacation we ate here numerous times and it was excellent. This year we stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was about half full. It took over 40 minutes before the three of us were served our egg and hash browns. All of the order was cold. The waitress asked if we wanted it remade. I told her not if it was going to take so long. Our food came back in about 15 minutes and was hot. This is no longer the Circle Cafe, it is Old School. I am kind of surprised they are still in business as not many people live nearby.

We stopped in mid afternoon for a late lunch. Friendly service! Sandwiches, hot and cold, are huge with plentiful portions and inexpensive prices. We saved room for pie- our congrats to the baker. Fresh fruits and beautiful cream pies. Warm them up and serve a la mode. Yum!

I stopped in for a little local entertainment and wasn't disappointed. The pizza was amazing and the locals were out in force.

Went here to watch the Stanley Cup and ordered a pizza after talking to the cook and the people at the bar. I was very surprised how good it was. I haven't ordered a pizza outside of Chicago in, at least, 30 years. The bar had great bar service-fast and reasonable prices. Would go back again. FYI-the cook/pizzamaker told me he was leaving at the end of the week because of a salary dispute. Don't know how the pizza will be from here on out. Good luck.

yes, this is a typical Subway but what makes it great is the service. I have been in here twice and each time have noted the service. The ladies don't just take your order and make your sandwich they talk to you. Sounds silly but it's nice and genuine and I appreciate it.

I have eaten here a few tines. This last visit, I counted the number of sandwiches they offer-50! Rather than my standard "Loganater" I had a burger and would do it again. If you like malts theirs is worth the weight gain. I'm sorry Subway-Logans Place is the place to a sub-a word to the wise though-they offer a 3", 6" and 9"Good luck on trying to finish the 9".
