With a lot of 5 star reviews I was prepared for a gastronomic treat. Alas I had an acceptable meal in a seafront restaurant with very good service. Our waitress was extremely helpful in supplying my pressing need for at least bread to eat immediately - 11/10. However the food just wasn't exciting. It wasn't bad but honestly 4 stars not 5.

We had a lovely family lunch here earlier this month. The terrace is situated by the water with a nice and peaceful view overlooking the harbour. It was lunch time and the restaurant was packed, we got lucky to get the last available patio table. We took the menu at 22euros (first, entree and dessert). The food was delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. We loved our garlic butter scallops, the poached shrimp with mayonnaise (home-made !!), the fish soup, our grilled tuna, and the chocolate mousse ! The waitstaff were very professional, friendly and helpful. A place to recommend for sure.

I cannot recommend this place. We had the 29euro menu. I started with langoustines, which were presented as rather small, cold shellfish and a bland mayonnaise. I followed with rack of lamb, which was presented as over-cooked lamb chops. The cafe gourmand desert was a little better, but not exciting. Very poor value for money and the bottle of muscadet was not presented in an ice-bucket. We were not provided with salt and pepper until I demanded it.Overall, most unsatisfactory.

Our restaurant, entirely renewed, is opened from May to end of september in a modern design, in front of the sea. For a quiet break, family meal or lunch group until 100 people. Children are welcome. French Traditional cooking, seafood and mussels-french
Found our experience to be very disappointing. The server forgot to place our main dish order, service was sloppy, the view was terrific, BUT! Would not suggest eating here. While there were a lot of people waiting to eat at this restaurant, I would suggest selecting the corner resto a few doors down next to the road that goes to the upper road level parking. The moules and fish looked great. The wait staff was really horrible. No eye contact, no asking if everything was OK. Horrible, horrible. We left one centime ($.01) as our tip.

Sea view restaurant. Local food with an exotic touch.

The cuisine is epicurean and fine with exclusive products and peppers from around the world. Our kitchen team welcomes a pastry chef chocolatier with experience. The full menu of the day at 19,50 ⬠The restaurant menus 29 ⬠to 39 ⬠for the highest-end men
The chef and the service staff here have experience in Michelin starred restaurants according to the owner. The chef's signature dish (lobster tail in butter-lemon sauce) is a real treat. It takes a little time to prepare as he prepares everything fresh, but it is well worth the wait.

Visited with daughter and grandchildren for lunch. The children's mussles and chips were a good size and tasted good.I didn't expect a whole crab for my crab mayonnaise but it was excellent as were the rest of the meals, at what I considered a very reasonable price. The only problems was the service, we had to ask for water three times before having to get it from the bar ourselves and having to ask for the children's ice creams twice.

We went kayaking!!! It was the best experience ever, the sea was green blue and paddling into the caves was a near religious experience. Afterwards, drenched and shivering, we went to the nearest place that looked open(it was about five) and sat down, eagerly looking over the pizza menu.A surly waiter, in a blue polo shirt, waved at us to sit down saying he wouldn't be long. We seemed to wait and awfully long time. A waitress came over and we ordered hot chocolate and pastis. We showed her which pizza we wanted and, bam, the thunderbolt fell.Non pizzas, only bloomin crepes. Dumbstruck, we hurriedly finished our hot chocs and left. Impressions of the place? Dark, impersonal, bit cold and unfriendly. We walked around a bit, calling in at the tourist info. Asking if anywhere was serving food, the answer came that you could only buy crepes at this time.Sadly, we walked back to the camper. Ever the optimist, I stuck my head around the Restaurant Panoramique, enquiring about pizza. To my delight, we were welcomed in, given a cosy table with a sofa and with minutes were playing cards and drinking beer. Our pizzas were sublime, swimming in garlic and freshly prepared. Take my advice, wave adieu to Restaurant de la plage and check out the views of pizza in Restaurant Panoramique!

First rule - make sure you book! Lovely modern and comfortable restaurant overlooking the beach. Good menu choice with alternatives for those not wanting seafood. All our food was nicely cooked and in particular our scallop main was just yummy. Drinks were a reasonable price as well. Service was a little slow at times but all the staff were courteous and friendly. Our last meal this trip - couldnât have asked for better.
