Medium grade hotel facing Store Bay at Crown Point close to the airport and local restaurants. 54 bedrooms - large with twin or king size beds, patio or balcony, cable TV, air-con, mini fridge, en-suite bathroom. Superior and deluxe rooms larger with guaranteed sea views. Bayside restaurant for breakfast, Sunset Bar & Grill for lunches and dinner. Set in tropical gardens with 2 pools, open air jacuzzi overlooking the sea.
We stayed here for a week on a British Airways All Inclusive holiday package. We had a lovely relaxing time and would not hesitate recommending the hotel. The grounds are beautifully kept, the pools were very clean, there were plenty of sun beds around the 2 pools. Our room was a standard room with a garden view, maybe a little dated, but again very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bar area was very nice with a lovely outdoor seating area that overlooked the sea. The barmen (Robbie and Tenis) were very courteous and worked very hard and we were always served quickly. Lunches were served in the bar area and had a good choice of burgers, chicken, salad etc. Breakfast and lunch were served in the pleasant restaurant, there wasn’t the huge choice of dishes that you may have in a large All Inclusive hotel, but the food was always tasty and plentiful. The waiting staff were very attentive. We did turtle watching (which was incredible, we saw a turtle laying her eggs)!and the Cool Runnings boat trip from the hotel. Both were excellent value 150 TT per person. There is a small beach with 3 cabanas accessible from the hotel, but it’s not advisable to swim there due to the strong currents. Store bay beach is a 10 minute amble away where you can hire sun beds and swim. There is a life guard on the beach. All in all we had a great holiday and would definitely like to return one day

Exquisite architecture and well manicured grounds warmly welcome you to the enchanting paradise that is Coco Reef Resort. Tranquil turquoise waters caress the white sands of our private beach with magnificent snorkeling just outside the breakwater. Enjoy kayaking, pedalos, diving, tennis, gym, in-house shopping, massages, manicures, pedicures and much more.
As you drive through the landscaped and manicured grounds, enter the open, airy reception area, you are greeted by the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea and it is evident that this property was once majestic. The location cannot be beat, you can walk from the airport. The private beach is stunning, calm, clear and there are many tropical fish to see near the rocks. This is the only thing that draws me here. The bones of the property are quite beautiful and the attention to detail is admired but it is past the point of having old Caribbean charm. It is so dated it feels like a museum and has a signature old musty smell. It is relatively clean but the age cannot be hidden especially in the bathrooms which are unpleasant. The room was poorly lit with a shaky bed, warped mattress and two worn out pillows. The ceilings on the second floor are very low compared to the ground floor rooms. The foul smell in the corridor by the shops need to be addressed. Hotel staff customer service is average, not at international standard. Tamara’s servers are unprofessional and appear irritated. Food was subpar. Sad to see what was a glorious hotel fall into disrepair. Not sure if I would spend another night there or if it’s worth the price. There’s an eerie feeling as there’s hardly any guests and you can see and feel the hotel withering away. Would be delighted to return if it was renovated.

We are a small 10 room Hotel. 2 Suites 2 Family/Superior rooms 6 Standard rooms(2 twin, 4 double) Small Restaurant and bar. 15 minute walk to Store Bay beach/Airport
My husband and I have stayed at the humming bird around 4 times now, its a great hotel with a great location, its close to the nicest beaches and Crown Point strip, I would advise a car for all stays in tobago but its close enough for a stroll or a taxi. The rooms and clean and perfectly fine for what you need, dont expect a 5 star hotel for a 3 star price. The beds are comfortable, the ac is great and the TV has plenty of channels WiFi has always been fine and my husband loves pauls breakfasts. We also chose to stay here for our wedding with our whole family, Paul AND Linda have always been lovely to us, Linda has cooked for my husband (when the hotel does not do evening meals) a couple of times when he has been there without me, and looked after him. The maid offered to provide lifts for our wedding guests to the beach, and little sparkle is exactly what his name says "a sparkle" we love to see him around at breakfast and give him a cuddle. Its just like staying with family. The pool and surrounding area is lovely and relaxing and well kept and clean. Overall its a good base for exploring and an enjoyable relaxing stay, I wouldn't say its only good for short stays as we have stayed for 2 weeks several times and been perfectly comfortable, compared to other hotels the humming bird is very good value for money. If you want to stay somewhere close to the night life and beaches and recieve a warm welcome from owners who have good local knowledge then this is the place for you.

We stopped in to see their gardens and animals in the back, and they were gracious enough to show us one of their rooms, as well. The gardens are beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed their animal collection The property is clean and lovely. I can not address the lack of patrons, or address any of the poorer reviews, as we didn't stay here. The room we saw was spacious and clean, and I would not have had an issue had we been staying here. See pictures to see for yourself.

I enjoyed my stay, with easy access to one of the best beaches in Tobago. The meals were also excellent and the fish was divine. I felt comfortable there as though I was at home. Large hotels are not for me! Please consider having recycle bins and water fountains in the future. I look forward to seeing these on my next stay.

The Kariwak is an intimate 24 room Tobago hotel with unmistakable Caribbean ambiance. It features wholesome cuisine using its own home-grown herbs in the restaurant, and holistic holiday activities - yoga, massage, Tai Chi. There is an award-winning tropical garden with abundant plants and bird life in addition to the garden jacuzzi, pool, weekend live entertainment. Kariwak enjoys a high percentage of repeat clientele.
We chose Kariwak as it looked like a pretty laidback, small and friendly hotel, and it delivered on all these points and more. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants, I don't think you could do better. The cabana-style rooms are set in gorgeous gardens with an abundance of wildlife (lots of birds, little lizards, even an iguana), and there are two lovely pools (one main, the second more of a plunge pool/jacuzzi with waterfall). The hotel is renowned for its restaurant which was still closed except for guests when we stayed. Elvin the talented chef does fantastic breakfasts (fruit, homemade yoghurt and bread, your choice of eggs) and dinner on request. The very friendly and efficient manager Maisha goes out of her way to make sure you've got everything you need. Having met other tourists on day trips who were staying in bigger hotels and struggling with service and upkeep of the rooms (Tobago is still on its way out of covid and recovering from the lack of tourism), we felt very lucky every time coming home to Kariwak. Maisha, Elvin and the team have done a fantastic job maintaining Kariwak to high standards and it's a genuine haven. Would stay again in an instant.

The service experienced at Carolina Resort was excellent. The room is beautifully laid out, clean, spacious and very avant garde with all amenities. The ambience of the surroundings is lovely. I felt very comfortable and safe. The Resort is very conveniently located, 5 minutes drive from Airport, near to several restaurants and to Pigeon Point Beach. The Owner was very pleasant and ensured that all was well with my stay. There was also a shuttle service offered from the airport to the Resort which was so convenient.

Bananaquit is conveniently located in the Crown Point area. A peaceful haven in the hub of activity for those seeking more personal interaction than larger resorts. The property offers a variety of self catered rooms with or without kitchenettes, with onsite restaurant and bar. All within walking distance of beaches, bars, restaurants, groceries and entertainment for the whole family.
This was the second time I have stayed at these apartments but unfortunately I won't be staying again. The service is significantly worse than last time I stayed. Firstly we had booked a two bedroom apartment as we were a family group. However on arrival apparently the fridge had broken so we were given a pokey dingy apartment with no doors between the rooms and no outside space. Luckily we were able to move to the apartment we had booked the next day or we would have been requesting a refund and moving somewhere else. The 2-bed apartment was lovely, however in our two week stay the cleaner came in once! And that was simply to change the beds and towels. By the end of our stay the floors and bathroom were filthy despite our best attempts to clean ourselves. Also were never left enough towels for the entire party, despite booking for the correct number of people and alerting the management to this the first time. The manager was lovely and friendly but unfortunately this did not extend to the rest of the staff we encountered during our stay. Overall this was a very disappointing experience

We had such a great experience at this resort. It’s great location is hard to beat. Also tough to beat are the owners, Lawrence and Ria, who made our stay very special. They care about their guests and are always available to help you out with whatever you may need. The oceanfront deluxe rooms are amazing! You are literally right on the ocean! The included breakfast was amazing. My husband and I definitely will be back.
