We wanted to taste real Istrian cuisine, so we searched agritourism places nearly... MekiÅ¡i village, niceplace por family with kids, beautiful weather, restaurant with terrace with olive trees, seems nice. It was holiday 1. May, so it was full, but nice atmosphere ...Service was terribly . The waiter didnât notice us for a while, when he saw us finally he didnât want to bring menu?! He was hurry and we agreed to his recommendation for some istrian food. Domestic wine malvazija was nice, food was delicious, prices are regularly for that kind of place... paying in kuna -cash only, no card.

This restaurant is not in Vrsar Harbour itâs out side the harbour on the main road out of town tucked in an urbanization area. It took us s while to find it and about 15 mins pleasurable walk from the harbour. We ordered a variety of food between us soup, fish, pasta meat and salad. The restaurant is nothing flash but the food is delicious. The waiter was super helpful with his recommendations, in fact I found the menu hard to decipher as it was written in many languages, we ended up explaining to the waiter what foods we liked and he recommended dishes from this information and he got all our meals spot on. I would recommend you to eat here if you would like a tasty meal and friendly service and reasonable prices. We would eat here again.

We visit this place for late lunch. When we entered the place was full, but they find us a small free table. Staff is very polite and friendly. The food was nice, specially home made pasta and we also like seafood salad and small stuffed chili with anchovy. They definitely can improve open red wine.

Traditional Croatian and Samobor cuisine
Great restaurant with HUGE portions. We ordered one soup which could be shared by 3-4 ppl. We then ordered two portions of veal and a chicken salad. The veal portions were very tasty and enormous. We could not finish them. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

The tavern Dolina, in the small Istrian village Gradinje, near mythical Motovun, is an ideal place to enjoy a home-cooked Istrian cuisine, unspoiled nature and perfect for an escape from the everyday bustle, noise and stress. It is only a kilometer from t
This family owned, traditional Istrian restaurant is located near the river Mirna valley, surrounded by beautiful greenery. They offer typical Istrian meals (fuži, njoki, pljukanci pasta... with mushrooms, wild board, homemade sausages) and they sure know how to make them exquisite and the same goes for the homegrown tomato salad! The terrace is small so in the summer make sure to make a reservation. The staff is very warm but can be a bit too pushy, checking too often whether everything is ok.

We had the local beef pasta. It was delicious! Kids were also well catered for too. Our fussy 13 year old had grilled chicken straight off the fire! The outside balcony has a lovely view, although as it as so busy we had to eat inside!

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with their seafood, the octopus in the salad that we ordered was cheewy, warm, terrible taste and most deffinitely not fresh. For the sake of our health we didnât eat it. Whatâs worse, when we told them about it they didnât react, nor appollogise or reimburse us for the dish, making the visit of this restaurant an unpleasant experience. However the main dish that we ordered was fine.

Tucked away down a bustling little side street, The Wine Corner us a lovely little gem of a place. We loved tucking into our sharing platters, which were so generous we couldn't finish it all so had a doggy bag to being home. The atmosphere was lovely, great quality meats and cheeses, and service was fab

We are a small family restaurant with a long tradition in catering. We are located in the very center of Porec. With a relaxed atmosphere and excellent prices we offer you a wide range of fish, seafood, pizzas and barbecues.
I think due to the vast amount of restaurants in porec, people like me go off these reviews and then perhaps these restaurants lose some of their appeal due to the amount of people they allow to eat at once The staff were friendly enough but the food was very average the fish soup was nothing special at all and just had a few bits of white fish in some very bland stockNo kids menu so you order off the main and they still charge you the same nearly which seems unfair for a 6 year old They had no Prosecco or GinI would defo try somewhere else as there are so many options

Rocka Konoba is runned & owned by family Stefanovic with extensive experience in the hospitality & gastronomy, we will be on your disposal for you to have great service in the Rocka Konoba. We offer authentic Istrian cuisine like Fuzi, Gnocchi or Ravioli,
We visited this restaurant after a brief excursion to two scenic old villages, RoÄ and Hum. Both are strongly recommended hidden gems of the Istria.Rocka Konoba is a great restaurant with a lovely environment, family atmosphere, friendly service and most important of all excellent food. The truffle and home made pasta were heavenly, and our kids loved the gnocchi with goulash and the pilotée. Strongly recommended for everyone.
