Often described as “Probably the most beautiful setting in the South West of England” The original buildings date back many centuries and are of great local interest with a history stretching back to the times of William the Conqueror and are reportedly mentioned in the Doomsday Book. Haselbury Mill is truly the ultimate somerset venue to commemorate and celebrate the special days in your life. The three magnificent listed buildings & newly built Tithe Barn provide the focus of this superb conference, restaurant, hotel & wedding facility. The Georgian Mill owner’s house & adjacent cottages have been transformed into a luxuriously appointed 21-bedroom hotel all with High Speed Wi-Fi Internet connection. All rooms are en-suite and are exquisitely appointed to add that little touch of luxury to the beautiful surroundings. The original Mill buildings have been sympathetically converted to a stylish restaurant and underneath can be found a traditional local's bar with flag stone floors and oak panelled walls. The Four storey Granary building nearby encompasses a lakeside bar and restaurant and further function and conference rooms
I Stayed at this hotel with my dog on the way to Cornwall to meet friends. As you drive to the hotel you notice how beautiful all the grounds are. The staff were very nice and very friendly. The room was really nice and very clean however the floor outside the room made whomever walked on it echo the noise into the room which did make my dog bark a few times. The evening meal and breakfast was really nice and I couldn't fault it one bit, I really enjoyed it. This hotel is well worth visiting either when you come to Somerset or when you are travelling to Cornwall as a stop off point. Couldn't fault the stay one bit!!

Previously The Swan Hotel, or the Swan Inn, now reborn as the Crooked Swan. Fully refurbished and and open July 2019! We are looking forward to welcoming you to a new chapter in this wonderful Inns history. With a bar, restaurant, 8 beautiful rooms (and function room - opening September)
My partner and I stayed here as we were attending a wedding locally and it was fabulous. The staff at the hotel were great, we were able to check in early before the ceremony which was really helpful. The rooms are beautiful and full of character. Large white fluffy towels and beautiful noble isle toiletries! The manager offered our friend, another member of the wedding party, a lift to the venue free of charge as he didn’t have a taxi booked which was so kind. We came home from the wedding and there was somebody cashing up who offered us some snacks which was lovely. In the morning a delicious breakfast before we left. Would certainly stay again if I was in the area.

A traditional coaching inn situated in the heart of the market town of Crewkerne, The George Hotel has a bar, restaurant and 13 letting bedrooms.
Stayed at the George with my husband for 2 nights and loved it. The rooms were bright, clean and such a comfy bed, breakfast was freshly cooked and hot. We had a few drinks in the bar both evenings and got chatting with the new managers Karen and Jackie they were both so friendly and professional and we wish them all the best and will definitely be back this summer and highly recommend the George.

If you are looking for complete escapism then this is for you. The cottage really is (almost) in the middle of no where and is surrounded by stunning English countryside, the cottage is very homely with a cosy log burning stove, it's not a chic mode cons place but that wasn't what we went for. There are plenty of walks and bike rides from the cottage and the sea is only a short drive away.
