Well what more could you ask for with a great view, friendly staff and parrots. I was walking to the toilets when I heard someone laughing at me but I just kept walking. Curious on the way back I looked closer and spotted a parrot who had been laughing heartily at me :-). Great place with lovely views over the bay and a great spot to watch the sunset. Service was pretty slow even by Crete standards (Mrs Jocks cocktail must have taken about 15 minutes but perhaps they had to send out for one of the ingredients) but it was no hardship sitting and chilling with such a lovely view.

A delightful kafenion with splendid views from the patio. The menu is limited but this is a kafenion, not a restaurant. The food that is on offer is excellent, the staff are attentive and very helpful and there's a large selection of books for customers to borrow and read while enjoying the view!

This restaurant specialises in grilled and barbecued meat. The menu ranges from souvlaki through to tbones, steaks and plates meat for sharing. Everything we ate was tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. The setting on the seafront is a bonus. But the real clincher is that it has the loveliest staff you could hope to meet anywhere. Simply the best.

This was very near our hotel, and we noticed when we walked past their placard saying they had a sheltered patio for getting out of the wind. We tried it on our second night in the town, and got perhaps the last indoor table - the patio was empty, too cold. The food was good. Everything had nasturtium blossoms as a garnish, which was amusing. We are not vegetarians, but we could be if we could cook as well as they did. Service was not memorable which probably means slower than in the USA but typical for Crete. We would visit again if ever in the town.Hey there,we're glad you guys enjoyed our despite our chef's obsession with nasturtium blossoms :DSorry if the service was a little slow maybe it was peak hour at the time.Hopefully we see you in the future!
