For a place right next to the sea, this was actually quite good. The food was tasty and served hot and the service was good as well. We went lunchtime.

We ate our evening meal here overlooking the beautiful harbour. The waiter was friendly and helpul. We had a starter each, fillet steak was beautifully cooked and came with a peppercorn sauce. The chicken with mushroom sauce was delicious. Both came with a side salad and gorgeous home-cut chips. We had an alcoholic drink each and the bill came to €56. About average for the harbour side restaurants. We're here for a week and will definately go back for dinner on another evening. Highly recommended

Apostolos

During our stay in Sissi, we tried a number of the restaurants around the harbour, all of which were of a very good standard, this could not be said of Apostolos. The location is second to none , but the food left a lot to be desired, and certainly not worth the money we paid. After having some shared starters , and then a very chewy stroganoff, amongst others, we decided to go elsewhere for dessert. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and helpful but we were not impressed with the overall experience and would not recommend.

We had admired this restaurant from afar and weren’t disappointed when we visited. Beautiful location with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was well presented and very tasty. I had the stifado which was delicious, the beef just fell apart. My husband had the sea food spaghetti which was heaving with sea food. He loved it. All very reasonably priced too. We will definitely visit here again.

18 years in customer service with authentic Greek cuisine.

My husband and I ate here a couple of years ago and whilst the service and setting are still lovely the food is not as good. I ordered the seafood platter which last time was amazing with loads of variety this time it was mostly mussels with a couple of prawns some Squid and an inedible piece of octopus. It was definitely not worth the money and unlike last time it did not come with potatoes and veg. My husband had the Gyros special which was again just okay. There are plenty better places to eat in Sissi so I would give this one a miss.

To Paradosiako, Tavern

While the owners and staff try their best to convince you choose their restaurant and order their food, the quality they offer is not representative of the one you can traditionally find in a Greek island such as Crete. First, their portions are amazingly small. Second, the variety is limited and they purposefully use limited amount of the ingredients which are quite expensive when preparing their dishes. This does not only renders the dishes much more expensive than the average but destroys the purity of their taste. There are much better choices in the market. Avoid it at any cost.

The place was busy and had a good vibe with lovely views over the harbour. We had muscles to start ... they certainly were not fresh ... having asked about the fish for main course we were advised some dishes were frozen...not expected from a sea front location to be honest! The service was good but we hadn’t finished our starter before the main course arrived. All in all an average meal in a nice location but there are much better places to go in Sissi

Loved the awesome, tasty food, uncomplicated environment: a mixture of rural with chic details. The jasmine aroma all over dinner, the basil , the cucumber offered while waiting. The land shank was delicious and the fillet steak was quite good, too. Need some pepper and salt added prior to bringing it to the table, but we forgive them.During our dinner we saw that everyone requesting the bill was offered raki + some grapes and watermelon..not to us, though.. neither the tomatoes bagged to take away...Take your time here, there is a 95% chance you’ll enjoy your time.
