Awesome meal! We went as a group of 3 friends on vacation in Crete and were pleasantly welcomed to this restaurant. All of the traditional Greek dishes were presented and described to us, along with excellent recommendations. Our choices were delicious and, at the end, we were delighted to receive an offer of a piece of lemon cake and Raki for each of us.We recommend this place 200%, best choice in Chania!

Mikrolimano is close to you since the summer of 2000. It is a family restaurant. We choose fresh and high quality products daily, as exactly a mom cook for her child. In a nice, warm, relax environment next to the port of Nea Hora. The best food experienc
By chance after walking along the sea front we came across this restaurant at lunch time. Just beautiful looking out to sea, nice and chilled. Very reasonable prices, cheaper than the old town or harbour. Good size portions, great service, clean toilets. It was so good we booked a table for our evening meal later that day

We chose this restaurant because of its looks and tidiness and a bit by luck. What a pleasant surprise! Food was fantastic (don't miss the skioufichta, ie Cretan pasta), the service impeccable, the ambience a and view unique. I would recommend this place again and again if you are in Chania.

We arrived early, as we often do, having skipped lunch, and found the owner chef and his staff eating their own meal at a table in the restaurant. The door was open so we went in and they seated us, brought us water, bread, and some olives and apologized for the wait. Their food looked great and we could have had that right away, but we wanted to see what else was available so we chose to wait.Maybe 10 or 15 minutes later, we were given the menu and when we mentioned fish, we were invited into the kitchen to take our pick of the fresh fish. Not only which kind but how many! We went with 3 barbonia (mullet), and added a green salad. All this was discussed right there in the kitchen. The food arrived, piping hot and fresh! The salad was huge, with pomegranates, red and green cabbage in it, capers, and other delicious additions. We ate happily, noting that various family members were also sitting in the restaurant - an uncle, a young son or cousin - eating and playing cards. A cat and a dog sat outside and were fed leftovers, neighborhood pets who knew where to go for the best scraps. After the food we ordered, we got a plate of fruit and yoghurt and boiled grapes. And raki. There were some other tourists like us, but also other local people - neighborhood people who clearly came here often. We left after a nice conversation with owner/chef, satisfied in body and mind.

To Maridaki is a âworkerâs restaurantâ right in the center of Chania. It is frequented by locals and tourists alike. The kitchen is open, and the waiter will take you on a tour of the rows of huge pots with the dayâs specials. Lunch here was an experience. The food was terrific, and cheap. We had marinated sardines, salad and a seafood with pasta dish. We really enjoyed this simple, down to earth restaurant.

This is a small family owned restaurant which has operated in the Old Harbour of Hania since 2004.We have recently moved to our new premises on the water front on Nea Hora Beach with ample seating along the beautiful harbour there. As you approach the rest
We ate here a couple of times whilst on holiday, as the food was so delicious and the service friendly. Lovely fresh flavours and excellent options for vegans/ vegetarians too! The tzatziki, grilled aubergines, fennel pie and 'a dip in the sea' were very tasty.

Overall the breakfasts we had here were great with a huge variety of food. We had some bar meals which are served by the restaurant which were good value and tasty. Sadly a chicken schnitzel we ordered for lunch was partially raw so they lose one star.

Very nice restaurant and amazingly tasty and well presented food. It is very well priced for what you get amazing value for money as you can see from the pictures a giant pork steak with beautiful fried potatoes and veg was only â¬12.20 you won't get such high quality of food For that price I mean in England a meal with this quality and quantity would cost about £25-30. The staff are all very nice, polite and attentive.Amazing place.

Palazzo almare restaurant is the place where you can experience the tasteful beauty of Greece. Althought we don't try to serve just food, we try to create memories for you and your company!
A nice and buzzing restaurant overlooking the water. The building is a beautiful townhouse converted to provide dining on all floors and lots of tables outside at ground floor. It is definitely worth booking in advance and requesting one of the tables on the first floor balcony which is private and overlooks the water, it makes a special occasion. Otherwise the roof provides a great outside dining experience.Overall the food was good and priced about right.
