We really enjoyed both our visits for the great food and friendly service. We enjoyed the salads and pizzas. Stop off and tuck in if youâre anywhere nearby.

This is a popular restaurant with everything; from pizza and pasta to souvlaki. We had lunch there. The pizza was good but not excellent. The basis was thin and crispy but the toppings were over cooked. Added bonus was the fresh tomatoes. For Greek standards, 10 euros for an 8 piece pizza is more expensive than usual: 8 euros should be enough. Friendly and efficient service.

Found this little gem whilst the kids were having a swim, staff were smiley, attentive, helpful, food was so fresh, and Iâve had a couple of bad bits of salmon in Crete. This food was delicious! We all loved it and Iâve recommended friends to return there today on there trip to Aghios Nikolaos.

Nice atmosphere, great view over the Mirabella bay, Greek traditional music. Dishes prepared of fresh, seasonal components. We especially recommend traditional Greek dishes like 'moussaka', 'souvlaki' etc. Nice and friendly staff. Maybe interior is not so impressive but food is enough good to recommend this tavern.

We visit this restaurant while staying in Agios Nicolaus. Amalthea Restaurant is very nice place. Here one can feel oneself a special guest. Waiters are polite and nice. Menu is various, you can also find menu in Russian. There is menu for children and children chairs as well. Restaurant with a beautiful view on the seafront. So you can enjoy your meal and admire the bay. This place justify its name Amalthea - horn of plenty. We ordered fish soup, lamb and fish there. All the dishes are very tasty. I recomend this place.

Having read the reviews we were tempted. So 15 mins after sitting down we had to ask to have our order taken. 3 adults and 2 children... the adults food arrived (which was good) and we had to ask to have the childrenâs meals delivered. We were told that fried food is quicker than grilled food! And so...? The adults had finished and 15 mins after that the childrenâs food arrived. We wanted to eat together! Unlikely to to re-visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. A stunning view of Agios Nikolaos by night from our table, excellent, friendly service and delicious food. The steak was particularly good. Very enjoyable live piano music in the background and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended, as is the adjoining cafe for drinks and snacks in the daytime with the same, fantastic view.

Fantastic place for food. Good portionâs well cooked, family owned established for years. Always eat here when in Ageos. Great choice of traditional meals. Always amazed how 2 men can service so many tables and not have any tables with dirty pots on. Love this place.

A place can get it so very wrong with the music selection... not here at Kimzu! Spent a day eating, drinking, swimming and relaxing listening to a good selection of chilled out tunes... definitely has an Ibiza beach club feel about it. A big plus are the lovely, clean and funky toilets! Prices are very reasonable... nice cocktails. If you are in the area definitely go spend a day there! Stumbled upon this place as it was close to our hotel, Food was good and service was great too. They have a wide selection of different types of food and what we had seemed very fresh, Wonât say itâs the best restaurant in Agios Nikolaos but would go back again if we was in the area Only downside with it itâs aimed at the Russian customers hence most of the wording of the signs and menu was in Russian. Nevertheless will visit next time in Crete
