The breakfast was standard fare and pretty good. I was disappointed they didn't have biscuits and gravy the day I was there.

Family run local restaurant is a local gem. Comfortable seating for dinner even if few others are there. Most locals take food to-go for that great thin crust pizza. We like the antipasto to-go also. Gyros are fresh and yummy.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. The breakfast buffet has creative morning smoothies, omelet stations, pastries baked on the premises, fresh fruit and of course fresh roasted coffee. The staff is friendly and accomodating. We asked to be seated near the window so we could view the grounds.

Family owned and operated, Mi Casa Restaurant has been serving the best Latin Cuisine in the Poconos since 2007. Here you can find well-known South American plates like Pernil, Bandeja, Bisteck Encebollado, and much more. We also serve authentic Mexican plates like Enchililadas, Fajitas, and more. We welcome you to try a taste of South and Central American Cuisine without ever leaving the country. Mi Casa Restaurant offers a full bar as well as a game room to enjoy either before or after your meal. Our menu is also available for take-out, you can come in or call ahead of time so it will be ready when you arrive. A catering menu is available for your party or event needs.
Hidden from sight from the main drag, this is an unadorned gem of a restaurant with kind and gracious waitresses.
“Standing room only” on a weekend waiting for a table the first time I was there, solo, I sat at the small, busy counter bar as an alternative to waiting for seating in this relatively small restaurant with tables and booths. Late, and during the week, with my partner, seating was more readily available.
The food is freshly and quickly prepared in generous and filling proportions. Loved the sweet plantains.

In 1984, Priscilla Moore, began making cheesecakes in her home near the village of Canadensis in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. The idea dawned on her to convince local chef's at resorts and restaurants to try her product. And a Business was born! After a few months a retail outlet opened on route 390 in Mountainhome, Pa. In just one year the overwhelming response was so much that they decided to expand to the current location on route 611 in Swiftwater. By 1994 she added a 2,400 square foot warehouse and more than doubled the original size of the baking and retail space. The Pocono Cheesecake Factory became one of the Must Try attractions in the Poconos. In 2007, Priscilla decided to ask her great Friends Al and Carole Johnson to carry on the tradition of uncompromising Quality and Freshness, supporting local farms sourcing our milk and cheese, and a customer experience that created the success to begin with.
I guess the good taste is the best rating, but the store appears unkempt and there is no indoor seating to sample your sweets there. Road construction at the present time causes traffic problems in the area, this too will pass. Wish they gave you the fruit topping in a separate container, then you could put it on the cheesecake when you eat it.

Friendly service and personal attention for overnight guests.
Bryan did a good job to handle everything alone when only 2 or 3 rooms rented out mid-week. Good variety of breakfast meals to pick and choose from - all cooked well except pancakes on second morning not brown on one side. Had 2 morning meals there so eggs with bacon 1st morning. Toast, waffles, hashbrowns, and sausage also available.

This classic American chophouse menu offers sumptuous culinary delights – including lobster claw and jumbo lump crab meat as well as a 16 oz. dry-aged porterhouse. Other entrees include half crispy duck and buttery grouper. If you’re looking for something casual we have several options from lobster wraps and cheeseburgers to entree salads. Whether you’re looking for a night of fine dining or a casual meal to enjoy; we look forward to serving you.
I know everyone gives this place glowing reviews, but I beg to differ. They have high end prices with a commonplace setting. No table clothes, glasses turned upside down right on the bare table, it's very loud, there was a spill over from happy hour, plus several unhappy children...hardly a place for a romantic dinner for two. The waitress did not anticipate our needs. The food was good (braised short ribs and crab cake) but not with the price tag, imo. I'm not sure if there is a quiet section in the place, but I would recommend you ask for one.

Been going here for years. Very nice setting with a piano that is played during. Weekend meals. Nice menu prepared expertly. Drinks are large. And well made and overall service is good. Prices fair for the. Area and it is just a good comfortable spot to dine.

We were in the area and decided to stop here. I've been here quite a few years ago and remember all the different types of soft pretzels. So many delicious choices! I got the bacon tpped stuffed cheese pretzel. They warmed it up for me after paying. Out of this world! We also got a chocolate covered soft pretzel, funnel cake pretzel, and cream cheese stuffed (they ran out of that one and a new fresh batch just came in so we waited for one of them). Little prices, but it was a different treat to splurge on so it was totally worth it. There's plenty of parking here and the little place sits in a peaceful, quaint area. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

This is always our first stop on our Pocono weekends with friends. We always reserve the same table and arrive when the open. The staff usually laughs when we move the Rooster Decoration and place it in the center of our table. He is always...MoreThanks for the great review, we always enjoy a group that knows how to have a good time while enjoying a great meal at our restaurant. We hope to serve you all for many years to come. Thanks Rob Owner
