Super, friendly service. Package included a dinner and show at the Chemainus Theatre, which were both excellent. The suite we had at the hotel was perfect. Hot breakfast included with a huge selection. We will definitely return again. GS Brentwood Bay

We got to the hotel and the power was out. Sorry I can’t remember the wonderful man’s name that was behind the desk. We had already pre checked in so he was able to bring us to our room. We had to walk up the stairs to the third floor but we’re just glad to be able to get into our room. He was so great helping everyone with having no power. He walked back up the stairs a couple of hours to let me know my sister was in lobby. We love staying here. Great service and it is always so clean.

Stayed for 3 months on business without a single problem. Quiet, ample free parking, good location for food outlets, walking distance to Duncan town centre (10 minutes), friendly staff always on hand, comfy beds and best of all ….. spotlessly clean. If you check my reviews, I do not tolerate bad quality or service, Thunderbirds are go!

Getaway rural accommodation on Vancouver Island just 20 minutes south of Nanaimo. All 12 guestrooms have private bath and breakfast included. South view rooms overlook a well manicured kiwi vineyard with ocean and mountains beyond.A relaxing park-like waterfront property, great for group retreats, reunions. Open year round.
Dh and I were supposed to stay elsewhere on our 1st night of our Vancouver Island trip, but the owner had been in contact with someone who had Covid, and so found us a room at this lodge. I'm not sure what my original place is like, but the Kiwi Cove in was fantastic. The room was large, bright, overlooking the gorgeous orchard, and had the bedroom part and a separate sitting area by the wall of windows at the back. We walked around the property after arriving. The bed was comfy, and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous, as was the service. Highly recommend this place.

NEW OWNERS APRIL 2014! We are a west-coast style, boutique hotel, located near the top of the historic, Malahat Drive on Vancouver Island. Overlooking the Saanich Inlet, you will be taken a world away from the routine of day to day life. Beautiful British Columbia encapsulated; mountains, ocean, birds, orcas, trees, all right outside your window. Drink in the sunrise along with your morning coffee; then settle in for the evening and watch, as the moon rises in the night sky and its reflection is mirrored by the calm waters below. Each room boasts a large, two person soaker tub, with nothing between you and the great outdoors except a large, picture window! Turn on the gas fireplace, pour yourself a drink and take some time to relax, rejuvenate and restore!
This place has the best view of any place I've ever stayed and the restaurant is delicious. The staff was more than accommodating and gave us the lock code so that we could check in after midnight. And when my flight back to the US was delayed one day, Moon Water allowed us to stay an additional night for half price. Highly recommended!

They had price listed as $150/night until we arrived to check in, then it went up to $300/nt. when we arrived in person. Its not even that nice a place! They were pressuring us to take it because it was a busy weekend, and we had to decide within 10 minutes (it was only 1 pm). Thankfully we made a quick call and found a room at the Super 8 for $170/nt. Walk away from this place and don't look back.

twenty minutes from Victoria, shopping malls in ten minute driving distance. Some of nearby attractions include Long Beach Park, Bamberton National Park and beautiful Malahat Summit in ten~fifteen minute driving distance.
The unit we occupied was one half of a cabin. The studio- like accommodation had two double beds, couch, TV, no kitchenette, but a bar fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was very well renovated, and everything was very clean. Wi-fi is free and works ok. It is unfortunate that the setting is adjacent to Hwy. 1, which is the busy thoroughfare from the north to the south of Vancouver Island. Traffic noise is incessant during the day, and it only gets quieter beween midnight and 5AM. The place is not prepared for hot summer days, as there is no air conditioning or fan. For a Motel 6-style accommodation a rate of $149 per night (plus taxes) is excessive and disappointing. There is a fireplace for the cool season, but the use of it is an extra $15. Think before you book.

We only spent one night at Eagle Rock, but wish it could have been longer. From the moment we arrived, Nucharee made us feel completely at home. She is definitely a people person and her warmth and friendliness are infectious. We were offered tea or coffee and were shown to our room (The Repetoire), which was gorgeous. There are only 2 rooms, so book early! We were also shown the breakfast menu, which was fabulous and we could order whatever we wanted at whatever time we wished to eat. Needless to say, breakfast was delicious - wonderful food, lots of good, hot coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. Nucharee loves to cook and it shows. We would definitely recommend Eagle Rock if you're planning to stay in Chemainus. Thank you Nucharee.
