NEW OWNERS APRIL 2014! We are a west-coast style, boutique hotel, located near the top of the historic, Malahat Drive on Vancouver Island. Overlooking the Saanich Inlet, you will be taken a world away from the routine of day to day life. Beautiful British Columbia encapsulated; mountains, ocean, birds, orcas, trees, all right outside your window. Drink in the sunrise along with your morning coffee; then settle in for the evening and watch, as the moon rises in the night sky and its reflection is mirrored by the calm waters below. Each room boasts a large, two person soaker tub, with nothing between you and the great outdoors except a large, picture window! Turn on the gas fireplace, pour yourself a drink and take some time to relax, rejuvenate and restore!
This place has the best view of any place I've ever stayed and the restaurant is delicious. The staff was more than accommodating and gave us the lock code so that we could check in after midnight. And when my flight back to the US was delayed one day, Moon Water allowed us to stay an additional night for half price. Highly recommended!

They had price listed as $150/night until we arrived to check in, then it went up to $300/nt. when we arrived in person. Its not even that nice a place! They were pressuring us to take it because it was a busy weekend, and we had to decide within 10 minutes (it was only 1 pm). Thankfully we made a quick call and found a room at the Super 8 for $170/nt. Walk away from this place and don't look back.

We only spent one night at Eagle Rock, but wish it could have been longer. From the moment we arrived, Nucharee made us feel completely at home. She is definitely a people person and her warmth and friendliness are infectious. We were offered tea or coffee and were shown to our room (The Repetoire), which was gorgeous. There are only 2 rooms, so book early! We were also shown the breakfast menu, which was fabulous and we could order whatever we wanted at whatever time we wished to eat. Needless to say, breakfast was delicious - wonderful food, lots of good, hot coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. Nucharee loves to cook and it shows. We would definitely recommend Eagle Rock if you're planning to stay in Chemainus. Thank you Nucharee.

We had a great stay at Raven Point. The rooms are newly renovated and everything was very comfortable. We stayed in the Harbour Room which is on the second floor and has a nice balcony and picture window facing the marina. Although it is not in Ladysmith itself, it has a great view across the water and is a short drive to Ladysmith, as well as having a restaurant onsite. Would stay again.

Noise and vibrations from the restaurant ventilator made sleep impossible. Also opening the window for fresh air impossible as it made the noise and vibrations even worse. We were unable to change rooms or leave inn at late hour. I cannot recommend this establishment.

Motel business. Daily accommodations. Longer stay welcomed. We have some rooms with kitchen. We offering Business queen rooms, Deluxe 2 queen rooms, Executive studio suits and Family suites. Offering business and leisure accommodations. Across from Ladysmith Marina and right in the centre of heritage town. Close to many tasty restaurants. Only 9 km from Nanaimo Airport and 15 km from Chemainus and Duck Point Ferry Terminal.
We had a great 4 night stay at the Holiday House Seaview Motel, and we would be happy to stay there again. The manager was super helpful and accommodating with anything we needed. Great location in Ladysmith, close to all the shops and restaurants and the beach. Nice balcony on each room. Shower and beds worked well. Nothing major to complain about. Rooms are a little small compared to more modern hotels, but for its age I think this place is really good. Definite recommend!

Spent night one of our honeymoon here 25 years ago, it was a gem. My husband recently planned a surprise anniversary celebration including a re-visit to the Little Inn. A HUGE disappointment! Sadly he paid for two nights. You don't have to look far to see years of neglect the Inn has suffered. The street sign is barely noticeable thru overgrown vines, the exterior looks exhausted. Inside the once matching, luxurious duvet and pillows now replaced by a cheap comforter and thin, see thru pillows. The cheapest bottle of bubbly (under $10) awaited us, the champagne flutes replaced by cheesy wine glasses. I can personally pee with more volume and pressure than the water that flows out of the shower head (original?). Our room was not made up after our first night and nothing replenished - no fresh towels, no clean glasses, nothing for the coffee station, no water bottles in the fridge). At $150.00 per night I do not think expecting fresh towels is out of line or at the very least leave enough supplies for two days. There were noticeable spider webs in corners on the ceiling and several live spiders sharing our accommodations. Having stayed at the local Best Western I would suggest that your money is better spent there being pampered and enjoying the BW complimentary amazing continental breakfast. I believe the BW even has a pool. Shame to see this little gem lose its shine but even at $50 a night would not stay there again in its current state.

Crown House, located right by Lake Cowichan, walking distance to the town of Lake Cowichan, public beaches, boat launch, and hiking trails, we offer a quiet getaway vacation B&B. Enjoy hikes through our temperate rain forest, float down the river on tubes, golf, swim, boat or tour the many wineries of the region. Whale watch, horseback ride, or take in any of the many other sights of the island.
Very comfortable and clean bed on second floor of home with an abundance of unusual Knick knacks. Delicious hot breakfast served by our gracious hostess, Cindy in view of Cowichan River. Amazing hot tub/infinity pool with hydraulic roof/cover. For those with physical disabilities, there is a stair lift and safety rails in the washroom. Would recommend as a good place to stay in Lake Cowichan. Short, easy walking distance from downtown.
