Have eaten here few times now and can't wait to return. Once on a Tuesday evening with my husband and such beautiful live music playing and again with my family on a Sunday evening. The food is beautiful and reasonably priced. Just one point I would like to make chicken maryland should come with chips when priced at â¬17.95 ! Music every night...a winner.
Mum and I went to check out this Peaky Blinders themed Gastro Pub which opened in March 2019. We were made to feel very welcome by Liam and his team. Food was delicious. We had the Beef Casserole with mashed potato (yum). Very reasonably priced at 10 euros. We got to sample their new lemon meringue pie dessert too which was delicious. We would have loved to sample more of their desserts but we were too full :)

It is very comfortable, the service is top class but I found it expensive , a glass of white wine and a pint of Guinness came to Euro 12.47 which I think was a bit on the dear side even for a nice place like this. Didn't eat but the menu looked fairly good.

Had Sunday lunch with 2 kids - busy spot but managed to get a table. Service was a tad slow but very friendly and attentive, so no complaints there. Very child friendly menu (unexpectedly) - comes with a very fancy activity booklet. Kids had pasta with delicious, homemade sauce with large portion on chips.,Adults went for the roast beef and lamb. While my lamb was absolutely delicious, the beef was one of the best we've had in the country - perfectly cooked, juicy and so tender. We were extremely, pleasantly surprised - I must say. Desserts - kids had apple jelly and 3 scoops of ice-cream. They would have preferred the jelly on it's own, it was that good. Adults had creme brulee and summer fruits crumble - both delicious. All in all, extremely pleased with the quality.

Monaghan town's longest established family run restaurant (1983). Sean cooks the food, Aisling runs the restaurant (makes the most superb desserts) and downstairs Kevin is famous for his Gin collection! Renowned for our 30 day dry aged beef aged and butch
Andy's has won many awards and you can see why. It is a very busy spot and the friendliness meets you at the door. The food is first class.... Monaghan chicken....mmmm and the desserts...a little piece of heaven tucked away in the corner of Monaghan town.HiGenuine friendliness is something very important to us here in Andy's and the staff are hand picked to ensure that they do and want to look after you. Where would we be without Chicken Monaghan - created accidentally by my father all those years ago. The desserts are my sisters responsibility (Aisling) priced at â¬5.95 and homemade they really are the best value in town compared to paying around â¬8 for pretty much the same thing elsewhere. The dessert platter has been a revelation. We are pretty much the only place in town to offer it and it has been a huge hit since we launched it about a year ago. Many thanks for your review.Regards Kevin
