Find out what Steakhouse restaurants to try in Donegal Town. Donegal Town is a fairytale of a place, featuring a charming harbor, serene beaches and stoic stone remains of centuries past, like those of 15th-century Donegal Abbey. Stern-looking Donegal Castle, recently restored to its one-time Gaelic glory, is the crown jewel of the area. If you’re looking for souvenirs, snag a hand-woven tweed or carpet, the signature goods of the area. For a good craic, the pubs of The Diamond area are a sure bet.

I have been to the market house a few times and i have to say each time has been excellent. Their rib starter and their chicken starter are lovely and both a good size for starters. The added touctches of the mini loaf and mini soup taster is a ver nice toutch. Their steaks are something else so good and of good quality. Their garlic potatoes ate really nice. The chips are the only thing that werent to my taste. They were a bit big and undercooked. I have also samples lorlts of their desserts and they are amazing. The decor of this restaurant is no nice since they got it decorated and has a very nice atsmosphere . Well worth a visit. I just wish that the quality of food in this restaurant was served in their function room of the hotel which isnt comparable at all.
