We stayed for three nights during the Greek Orthodox Easter holidays. The hotel is totally and utterly amazing and aristocratic! Our quirky and impressively decorated rooms were extremely spacious and spotlessly clean! Our room was a trullo and the feeling living in an actual ancient trullo was out of this world. All the staff were very polite and attentive to our needs. Valerio, the manager, from the moment he greeted us when we checked-in, until our check-out, was eager to give us directions as how to fully enjoy his hotel and the magical Alberobello. Nothing was too much for him. He really wanted so much to make us feel comfortable and have an awesome time at the palazzo. The beautiful breakfast was served in our room, with a variety of teas, coffees, breads, jams, cheeses, meats, fruit, yogurt and pastries. We strolled around the town with the amazing trulli and its winding little streets. We felt as if we were staying at the Smurf village. We shall definitely return to the "Palazzo Scotto" soon. Thank you so very much Valerio! We had a memorable stay at your magical place! Many thanks to your wonderful father. We shall see you again soon!

While the trulli was quaint, the stone interior made for a very chilly night. The hot water supply only lasted for half a shower, making for an even colder experience. There are 3 beds available, but one is in the attic, which would be very difficult to access. The bed we slept in did not meet our expectations, given the cost of our stay. Breakfast was a basket of commercial snacks.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay to end our honeymoon! We stayed in the luxury suite with the aquarium over the bed, it was a stunning room. Very quiet and relaxing, we had a car so it was a very quick drive into town. It would be difficult to walk in.

The resort is embraced by a lush private forest of oaks and Mediterranean plants, in a maze of paths between dry stone walls and trulli of Itria Valley. The swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and local vines will be the ideal place to spend relaxing days and sip aperitifs and cold-pressed juices. Each Suite is born from the study of shapes and ancient materials worked by local artisans to make each room modern, unique and comfortable . Ottolire Resort Restaurant offers completely typical food and it’s based on traditional cooking methods and full creativity of the chef. The products reflect the absolute excellence of the Apulian land, where the palate is enchanted, while colours and flavours meet and exalt the taste Codice Identificativo Struttura: BA072025014S0021310
Warm welcoming staff, very comfortable accommodation. Restaurant and pool staff were excellent and efficient. Excellent food for all meals. My only criticism is that the restaurant menu didn’t change so over three nights one ran out of choices! Even specials of the day would have been nice. I would definitely go back there.

Trulli e Puglia offers trulli houses completely restored in Alberobello (Puglia-Italy). Their location is the best you could find: Rione Monti, the heart of the historical centre. All the trulli are fully-equipped with Tv, kitchenettes and air conditioning/heating.
Great location as the accommodation is a trulli house. Set up as a self catering unit. Clean and tidy, we had a patio area at the back too. Breakfast in the wine bar area, good, plenty to eat, nice staff. Also had a fun wine tasting with the owners, would recommend.

Tenuta Monacelle is a deep soul place. Its architecture draws on the cultural traditions of Apulia and contains the stone, the stone walls, the red geraniums, the pinnacles of trulli, the natural flavors. Staying here means finding a dimension of relax and authentic pleasure. Among the Valle d'Itria olive trees, close to the Adriatic Sea, in every corner of the estate you can listen to a story of gestures, smells and voices of an authentic land. Many different souls coexist in here. The one of hospitality with suggestions for short and long overnight staying. There’s the cult of catering with traditional but open to innovation cuisine. Always with a close relationship between food and wine.
Beautiful venue fantastic food and staff. We had 50 guests from all over the world and all said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Special thanks to Nicola, Grazie and Danielle for their kindness.

On a business trip in Puglia, I have booked Mazzarelli resort with the thought of having a good place to relax while working during the day. The amazing establishment offers very good privacy, strategic location with easy access to all the touristic points of interest and very good services. A funny memory comes to my mind: one morning the gardener started the mowing machine quite early. The reception person in charge was very understandable when I called and nicely asked to delay the process for one hour. 5 stars from me. The only aspect I would like to see it improved is the kitchen offer (Maybe that was due to lockdown challenges). Appreciating the manager gesture in presenting me the property and SPA development plan. With a bit of luck I’ll come back this summer. :)

Borgo is the Italian word for village. Borgo Egnazia, a stroll from the Adriatic Sea on the fertile plains of Puglia, is a village of dreams hewn in the beautiful white Tufo stone of the region. If it had existed in ancient times it would have been the eighth wonder of the world! But although it looks as if time, sun, footsteps and sea breezes have weathered its facades, Borgo Egnazia is a 21st century creation that sparks the imagination with its characterful buttresses and the higgledy-piggledy layout of the casette around the central Piazza. You arrive at La Corte (the court), which sits like a manor house or Moorish Castle to the side of the village. It's a castle of troubadours and sanctuary though, not of battlements. Here are rooms where you can take your sojourn with us, descending the sweeping stairway to enjoy the bars, restaurants, terraces, spa and pools as well as the many secreted, gently lit bowers in a labyrinth of corridors that make it seem as if you had entered the Temple of Aphrodite! Alternatively you can choose to stay in one of the Borgo's casette, a deux or as a family of four, which nestle around two piazzas down bougainvillea- scented alleyways that you would swear had been there since the days of carts and horses. Larger families might prefer to take one of our 29 villas that fringe the village with their own plunge pools and shaded gardens, lush with oleander and rosemary. Borgo Egnazia is hard to describe. It's a place like nowhere else, with so much thought having gone into every detail. You have to come and experience it for yourself. What we have done is given glimpses about the many characteristics of the place. We hope you enjoy these. If they conjure in your mind the sense of a place rich in earthy provenance, splendid in its imagining and deeply restorative in its comforts and perfection, then our words will be doing some justice to the reality of Borgo Egnazia. Vair Spa Vair is emphasizing the role played by internal beauty, which illuminates each one of us and never deteriorates. We are introducing the results of a year's worth of research into an essential theme: The fulfillment of the psyche, that can be searched in a series of extraordinary treatments born precisely from this vision. Before choosing the best tailor-made spa itinerary, our guests often say they would like to feel happier after their treatments. This is why we suggest that you do not miss the life-changing treatments, which are carried out in the friendly and inviting atmosphere at Vair, the innovative and modern Mind & Body Spa surrounded by Puglia's natural beauty. We train every day to have the clearest attitude in welcoming you. The Training of the Spa Team has been extra-ordinary. Inspired and excellent teachers, all masters in their arts, left us tools and knowledge to enhance our methods for delivering committed Spa experiences in this changing world.
I had heard / read nothing but amazing things about Borgo. Don't get me wrong, the overall property is incredible. But I would recommend a visit for dinner over staying there. The staff was 10/10 but the hotel room was nowhere near as nice as other places we have stayed throughout Italy. Our AC barely worked, wifi did not work, and the shower pressure was extremely weak. We only had a one night stay so by the time we realized all of these issues it was late into the night and we did not have the energy to go downstairs to reception and address them. In addition, we ate dinner at La Frasca which would have been good if we had not been seating to a screaming toddler that cried / yelled throughout the entire 2 hour meal. Pros: the spa and pools are beautiful. The breakfast food was delicious. Overall, this is not what I expected for a hotel of this caliber and such an expensive hotel room. I wish we would have booked somewhere else.

Masseria San Domenico is situated 500 metres from the Adriatic Sea and housed in a whitewashed, XVth century watch-tower set against a backdrop of olive groves, orchards and Apulian seascapes. An impressive free-form seawater pool flows its way through the grounds and the 2 exclusive beaches (one sandy one rocky) allows guests to soak up some sun without the crowds. The SPA and Thalasso centre relies on the same salty seawater to fuel thalassotherapy and balneotherapy-focused offerings, in addition to providing a full menu of massages, facials and body treatments. The more actives can tee-off at the 18-hole golf course overlooking the Adriatic or burn off calories in the gym. To refuel, dinners don't get more romantic than at San Domenico Restaurant, with its 18th-century vaulted ceiling, or at La Nassa, a very fine dining seafood restaurant on the water edge. At the end of the day, elegantly furnished rooms and suites make a restful sanctuary with rich fabrics, colours and textures
I would have loved to give a great review because this was supposed to be the best hotel of our trip. We wanted to save the best for last but this was not really the case. Location: The hotel is located at 3 km from the sea side in the middle of beautiful olive trees and the drive way is stunning. Check in: It is a personal impression but for the price guests pay, I think a welcome drink would be a nice start of the stay. On our Puglia trip we stayed in a hotel where we paid 400 € for 3 nights and they offered us a welcome drink and they left a bottle of wine in our room. The welcome at San Domenico was professional though but felt rather cool and distant. Rooms: I would advise not to take the cheapest room type because there is no terrace or balcony in the room. Also I believe, a plastic shower curtain in a 5 star hotel in 2022, is not an option any more. I understand they want to emphasize the charm of the building but it is not nice, sticking to a shower curtain while taking a shower in the bath tub. The walls are very thin and I could understand what our neighbors were talking about in the room next to ours. The relaxation area they showed us could do with an update as well or at least a coffee machine would be nice to have. Breakfast: It is a continental breakfast but we knew this upon reservation. We enjoyed the breakfast very much with nice views over the olive trees, beautifully presented and with great and attentive service. Swimming pool: Huge swimming pool with lots of space. The beach clubs were still closed and this is certainly OK because we were told before arrival. I had hoped they would be open because it was the second half of May, the weather was great, hotel fully booked and the beach club of Borgo Egnazio closed due to an event. We do love to stay in historic hotels with lots of charm but this hotel was not cosy at all. There are not many rooms in the hotel but the property is huge. To get from the room to the reception, breakfast area or swimming pool, you have to cross large courtyards. Even in May, it was very hot out there. The hotel was fully booked but often with groups of cyclists who were out and about during the day and the hotel was completely deserted. We just felt a bit lost in the place. There is probably a very different vibe in the hotel during the high season but unfortunately we were not attracted to it now. Also with the beach clubs open from June on, this might be a whole different experience so it is only a personal opinion.
