Location was the only plus about this apartment. I have booked the place on Booking.com, while had some good expectations due to the Photos posted. - Upon arrival, we got to know that we have to Pay tourist fees (not mentioned earlier it was 20 EUR) to collect the key from a machine. - the apartment was much darker, was smaller, and doesn't match the pictures posted at the site. even expected a balcony (as pictures posted, but there was none) - on two occasions we got back to the apartment after a day tour in the city, to find the Door apartment widely open. (How and Who - we do not know) although we made sure it was closed as all our belongings were in the apartment. - not to mention that at night you could hear every passing by as seems windows has ZERO sound isolation. I do not recommend this place to anyone.. I believe staying on the roads would be the same. since even doors cant be looked to protect your stuff.

Medieval village recently reconstructed with 4 stunning villas surroundes by nature. Sleeps from 5 up to 26 people. Swimmingpool, BBQ area, sand box for kids and lovely views over the Penedes vinyards.
This is the second time my friends and I have stayed here for a getaway weekend with friends. The Casa Rural la Torre is perfect for such an event, spacious and comfy and the owners are super helpful. Recommend.

House of the seventeenth century, built inside a medieval enclosure dedicated to the production of oil. Restored as a Rural Hotel, it has capacity for 17 people, living room, gardens with swimming pool and jacuzzi, spa area with therapeutic hydromassage, medieval party room, offers tranquility in a unique, intimate and welcoming place. Located in the Alt Penedes, one hour from Barcelona and 30 minutes from the beaches. We offer spaces available for courses, workshops and conferences. We offer the option of half board and full board.
We came to El Castell on our hiking wine tour. It was a very hot day, and it was a nice end to our hot walk. The owners are wonderful people, and we enjoyed Catalonia food at both dinner and breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable, a fan would have made it even better to enjoy the cool of the evening. Thank you for your hospitality!

We spent 2 weeks at this villa, with 3 families coming from the UK, Holland and the USA, so we had invested a lot of hope in the quality of the accommodation First the positives: Location is great – close to a pleasant small Catalan seaside town, with lovely local beaches that are not too busy. The view over the town is great, with excellent sea views. Nice garden area, with small but acceptable pool. And the negatives: The kitchen – felt like it was cobbled together 20 years ago, with outdated and poor quality worktops and sinks. Space for preparing food was limited. The fridge was a good size but leaked from day 1 with a lot of rust at the base – clearly this had been going on for a long time. It failed on us after a few days and it was another six days before it was replaced. We had to throw out a lot of food that was spoiled and there was no offer of compensation despite our asking in a letter after we left (which went unanswered). Even the can opener did not work. The bedrooms were OK with 1 good sized, and the other 3 on the first floor being quite small and one without en-suite. The top floor was really a large and shabby bedsitting room, with several beds, a fridge etc. Advertised as having air-conditioning, this was only present in the lounge area and the top of the house. The other bedrooms had fans – better than nothing, but not what we had expected. The availability of English channels on TV was disappointing – many Spanish villas now offer availability of UK channels, and this house had just one or two free to air satellite channels. We were unable to watch the Olympics which was on at the time, apart from a very limited Spanish service. The internet was very poor – totally absent for long periods and 1-2Mb/sec at best, although this was a rarity. The cost – simply not worth it – we paid €6200 for 2 weeks and felt entitles to expect modern furnishings

Our family has lived on this land and grown grapes for hundreds of years. We know our ancestors have been here since probably 1378! As a wine growing estate, our main income comes from working the land. We are really lucky to live in this beautiful place, which includes a chapel dedicated to Saint James which was built in 1623. We're a family of 4: Santiago is a wine-maker and was born here. Adelina used to work in the wine industry and is now retired and works on the farm (other than being an amazing cook she makes beautiful furniture with recycled tiles and vineyard tools, too!). The daughters Anna and Maria live and work in the area, too. Anna is in the publishing industry and Maria is back on the vineyard after 7 years roaming the world. We love to host people from all over the world, we enjoy cooking and having our friends over for meals, traveling (when the vineyard allows us... so not very often), reading and making furniture. This area is all about wine and cava! We hope you'll taste everything Penedes has to offer. We are happy to book tours with our wine making friends, showing you hiking trails and telling you our favorite places to eat. We are less than 1h away from Barcelona and just 20min from beautiful Sitges.
¡Repetiremos!

Just 10 minutes from Paseo de Gracia!Coroleuhouse-Bcn is located in a typical neighborhood of Barcelona (Sant Andreu). You could mingle with the people who really live in Barcelona but will have the city center just 10 minutes by subway. Come from the airport by train directly in just 40 minutes!!! and from Plaza Catalunya in 15 minutes by metro. In the neighborhood, you will find typical 'tapas' bars, shops, streets to walk, a park for cycling and wonderful people!!- sheets and towels on arrival - mineral water - Free WIFI in all the house. GROUP: COROLEUHOUSE-BCN & AJUNTAMENT APARTMENTS BARCELONA
Thank you Jose Maria for such a warm and generous welcome to Coroleu House. Me and my son enjoyed our stay and the terrific value. Nearby transport to city centre, airport and beyond was brilliant . I’m nearly 2 m in height and was a bit worried about bunk bed - it was no problem and I got s good sleep each night. The set up suited us a lot. Gracias George

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Casa de la Rosa. We are a family of 9 adults and 5 chldren. we spent our days playing tennis, table tennis and swimimng in the pool , in the evenings we all ate together in the lovely bbq house warmed by the open log fire enjoying fine local wines. Helena the housekeeper is a lovely lady always on hand when we needed anything. We did not explore our surroundings very much as we were enjoying the house and relaxing in the sun; however, what we did see was gorgeous mountain scenery with miles of vineyards .The area is very rural and a car is a must. The owners were very helpful before our trip, sending us maps and lists of days out. The house is very well equiped. We cannot understand the previous poor review we read on tripadvisor. We enjoyed a great family holiday
