Doug's is an exceedingly casual and popular FRIED seafood restaurant in Cortland. The ordering was expedient, and the food FRIED OK.

We went here because I had a great experience yesterday a a middle eastern restaurant in Allentown, PA, and was looking for a healthy, delicious lunch. My whole family was disappointed. The spinach pie hardly had any (maybe frozen) spinach and was like they used calzone dough. The Greek salad with iceberg lettuce was not that good, although the dressing was good. My husband ordered a ground meat kabob that was overpriced and under garnished. One kabob on a bed of rice and a small cup of lentil soup was $13. The only thing that was good was my daughter's burger which we got them to cook rare, else it would have been a complete bust. We ate because we were on a college tour so we had to keep moving. When we told them truthfully how we felt, at first the owner argued that we ate, then he took off one item and seemed disappointed we were disappointed so I felt bad for him. He seemed nice and offered to make us something else, so the rating went up for that. Maybe Cortland is just not a foodie town, as there were a lot of people in the restaurant. Left hungry, but looking forward to a good dinner elsewhere.

Great Atmosphere, Varied Menu, Great Selection Of Beers
Moved away from Cortland several years ago and since this was one of our favorite restaurants.....especially on wing special night, we were anxious to visit during our recent visit. Party of 5. One ordered a chicken cordon bleu sammich special. One hamburger and 3 orders of wings. Chicken sandwich was excellent. Hamburger reported very good. Wings were a disappointment. Maybe because not wing special day. But will still give it a go again next year when we visit.

We were in Cortland on a business project and looking for restaurants. Hairy Tony's has the worst possible name I can imagine, but it was ranked #2 on tripadvisor after a fish fry place, so we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Of particular interest was the range of food offered in addition to standard pub fare. I've tried the chicken schnitzel, a huge plater of lightly breaded pounded thin chicken. The menu said hot German potato salad and red cabbage. Normally you expect them as two seperate sides, but the two came mixed together plus capers. Not what was expected but really good. The Shepard's Pie was outstanding; so much beef there was bairly room for the carrots, and topped with cheddar mashed potatoes. It came with a spoon but it was so thick it wasn't needed. Seared tuna in Cortland? Perfect. They also offer Pad Thai, but I didn't try it. The chef is apparently from Florida and can cook in any genre. Small but decent selection of wines, plus a good variety of beers and full range of liquor options. We always sat at the bar, where service was great. The bartender and many servers are from CUNY Cortland and do a great job. But Hairy Tony's? Seriously, don't let the name fool you, if you are in Courtland for any reason this is the first place for dinner. Easy parking too.

With a title like this you can't go wrong. TVs to watch the game. A beer list and cider. Brick over pizza and a large menu to chose from.
Went from a sampler of sliders. Boneless wing and quesadilla. All good. Wife had the buffalo chicken egg rolls and can't say enough. Even ordered a take out order of them to bring home to son.
Stopped in on our way home from morrisville. Was not disappointed. Food was good. Service was prompt and waitress was happy and bubbly.
Good food and good service. Can't complain at all.

Our favorite fast food destination! Our kids loved it when they were children, now we've taken our grandkids, who had never been to a drive in, and were fascinated! On top of that, the food is always great, and you can't beat the service!

My wife and I with another couple went there for my birthday dinner. When our entrees arrived 3 out of the 4 of us were served. About 20 minutes passed by. My wife's dinner still wasn't served and we were about done eating. My wife never ate her dinner and we had to still pay for it. Still the entrees we got were very good. Don't know if my wife will ever go back to eat there.

At first look you think it's only a diner, then you enter through the Hollywood doors into an amazing Hollywood themed restaurant. Low lighting with neon lighted accents make you feel like your table is setting the mood for an amazing evening. Memorabilia covers the walls and statues placed around, tables and chairs Hollywood themed as well. Great place for family, dates or groups out for a good night. Great food, clean bathrooms make this a must re-visit when back in town again. Right off the highway. Stop and check it out.

Bob's reopened last weekend . I could not wait. I arrive late Saturday afternoon to find others could not wait any longer either . The line was long . As we waited the smells coming from the grills made us even hungrier. This opening weekend even had Bob doing the serving and greeting old friends. We ordered the ribs combo plates . The ribs were tender and great tasting The sauce was finger licikin good.
Had the large sweet potato and homemade beans . Probably ordered too much but we could not help it. The food was still the BEST Barbecue I have had and always worth the trip . Easy to get to right off RT 81 in Homer. Will make it our bussiness to get back as many times as we can over the season

Wild Ginger has numerous sections. We tried their sushi/sashimi one evening, and their hibachi lunch another day.
The sushi/ sashimi were decent... but nothing to write home about. The hibachi lunch was mildly entertaining, and quite tasty.
The problem at Wild Ginger is their SERVICE (or lack of...) One could never call it courteous or warm; for the most part, you feel neglected, even rejected. Even on a deserted evening, basic attention takes ages.
