A very nice little bar, managed by a charming couple and the grandma of one of them helping to cook nice little tapas. It's on a very lovely place in Corte and I hope I will go back to have more drinks eventually.

We ate two courses - pate de tete, rabbit & boar stew which with a bottle of house wine came to a very reasonable â¬43. We ate indoors win a pleasant basememt setting. The food was well cooked and the portions huge. The service was chaotic - bread forgotten, menu confused, coffee machine broken, wine undercharged on the bill - but all of this was completely forgiven by the charming staff - all of them - who looked after us. We would return.

Had lunch here after visiting Corte. Lovely find, staff friendly and food tasty. We ordered one of their specialities - cannelloni with Corsican cheese, mint and a veal sauce. Really nice, well seasoned and generous portion. My wife had a Sicilienne pizza which was excellent. Price was very reasonable.Would recommend this restaurant if you are in the old town.

The people running the restaurant seem like they produce some of the charcuterie and cheeses as well and we found them most helpful but little English spoken. Food was great and seemed more authentic than some of what we have experienced in Ajaccio. I guess there are not the thousands of tourists. My husband had the roast pork stuffed with figatelle which we discovered was liver sausage and it was delicious. I had a salad of Corsica which was generous and delicious and slightly different to others I have had. It's a great choice for lunch when you don't want a big meal. The owner asked if we would like our photo taken, we accepted after a lot of laughter. Good coffee too.

Out of the three nights we spent near Corte, we ate here twice, it was so good! Local produce and typically Corsican food: Terrine of wild boar, vegetable soup, vegetable and herb pasties, delicious fish, wonderful entrecote steak....all the dishes were delicious. The restaurant is an enclosed outside space, with heavy plastic sides. It was a little chilly the first evening, but electric heaters soon dispelled the chill. The staff are young, friendly and very efficient. In a party of six, we had three vegetarians and one coeliac, but all were catered for with no problem. A great place to eat and wonderful situation in the middle of Corte's citadel.

Really nice terrace that fills up quickly. Nice staff I noticed it was a team effort and actually saw servers taking plates from tables they did nit serve. The 20⬠menu was pretty good carpaccio de veal OK cannelloni sanglier copious and tasty. Trout a la brocciu was no great shakes infact pretty industrial.Sherbet good. Café gourmand excellent with loads of pastries.Problem with visa machine, long wait to pay tarnished the experience.

We stopped here on a very hot day and were glad to find the last table on the busy terrace. Good sandwiches (Kentucky & Louisane) with some fresh beers (despite Heineken:-(), quick and friendly service and honest price (⬠22); a place to remember for a quick lunch...

We went based on the reviews especially of the 16 euro menu. The food lived up to the hype with everything that we ate being very good, the wild boar stew was definitely the best thing that we had. They only serve bottled beer. The carafes of wine were good value and drinkable.

We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back for lunch the next day. Salads are massive and I was advised that the one I had chosen was too big to have as a starter so I had it the next day for lunch instead. Meat is grilled over a wood fire in the front room of the restaurant. Our côté de bÅuf was perfect. The patron works like a whirling dervish cooking and waiting tables. At a busy time you might have to wait for your food as he only has a small grill! Corsican hospitality at its best.
