All we wanted was a traditional Corsican restaurant and we were not disappointed!! 20 Euros menu 3 courses and Corsican red wine ! Trio of terrines or Corsican salad followed by the wild boar stew with polenta-outstanding and for dessert a chestnut fondant- truly delicious! Our waiter Nicolas was delightful and charming and treated us to a complimentary local liqueur to finish of an alfresco first evening in Calvi!

Very good restaurant with a super cozy terrace; the food was beautifully presented and served in a timely fashion; service was friendly, though at times not attentive enough; food was very good (foie gras, pintade), but only the dessert (chocolate fondant) was truly excellent - next time I might go with the fish, as the one that I tasted was absolutely delicious; prices are steep for Corsica, but overall felt adequate; will certainly return on my next visit to Calvi!

Another very good restaurant on Rue Clemenceau. Buzzing with atmosphere. We managed to secure a table on the terrace overlooking the marina as the sun set over the Bay of Calvi and had a fabulous Wok du canard, gingembre et citronelle (duck stir fried with ginger and lemongrass) which we washed down with an equally delicious Clos Culombu 2017. Dolce was an ice cream on the way back to A Merula. A memorable evening out!

We decided to try one of the better restaurants in Calvi. The staff were quite friendly but only spoke French. All menues were also in French. We settled for the set menues with mixed results. The tomatoe-mozzarella salad was magnificent. Maybe the best I have ever had. The dorade was also good, and the lamb schank delicious. The downside was the loooong wait. I believe we waited over one hour for the main course.

While walking around, stumbled upon this place, quickly checked reviews and went in. The house red wine was excellent. Efficient service. Chose the 3 course deal which was very good value. The fish was fresh and cooked well but the sauces had no flavour whatsoever.

Overlooking the harbor this restaurant has glass wrap around windows that can close in inclement weather and winter.I dined here in the off season and there was still room before 8 pm. Thereafter the place was heaving but service was still pretty swift. Once you order it goes to take very long for good to come out if you put your order in before the big evening rush.If you donât want to eat pasta or pizza, there is not much choice for vegetarians especially if you are vegan or font line goat cheese. There is one veggie salad yo be precise but it is yum as is the version with chicken strips and nuts.Their desserts are to die for. Especially the mango, passion fruit mousse with a sorbet.Price is reasonable for quality. With no alcohol and starter, my salad main, dessert and a tea came to about Euro 25.
With good views of the super yachts, feel envious of those onboard, but comfortable whilst you enjoy a meal or a pleasant drink.

The food was delicious. Well cooked with fresh ingredients. The duck breast was wonderful with a glorious juice whilst my wife's venison was delightful. Truth told, much better than the well below average food served up on the marina. Wine here surprisingly inexpensive around 5 euros a glass, although sure they'll sell you a good red for days wage. Here for my wife's birthday so not impressed with confusion re timing when we arrived. Had us down an hour later. A little annoying. And seemed annoyed when not wanting to take a table inches from the pavement. That said, was happy with the food. But again, it is the little things that go wrong we customers remember.

Nous proposons uniquement des plats froids, composé de charcuterie, de fromage, de terrine, melon, salade... Nous ne prenons pas de réservation. Merci de votre compréhension.
Great views, lovely food and good local wine. Itâs at the back of a deli. We shared a large platter. It was beautiful as was the local Calvi wine. I gorged on the cafe gourmand. We were there on a a Thursday. You canât reserve and we were advised to arrive at 7pm but in fact, on this night it was never full. Goodness knows why!

Restaurant traditionnel situé au plein coeur du village de Calenzana à 15mn de Calvi. Cuisine méditerranéenne.
The food was absolutely fresh and tasty. The menu had something to please everyone and the portions are generous which is perfect for sharing around the table. The service was very friendly & efficient which isn't a given in France and the prices very reasonable. It's also a nice feature to be able to see the Chef at work. Last but not least, this restaurant is spotless which for me is a good indicator of the staff/owners hygiene standards. All in all, we love this place and recommend it strongly. We will be back!
