Since 1967 the Olive Pit gourmet retail store features over 120 different kinds of olives, many Balsamic vinegars, wine, craft beer, gifts, nuts, candy and so much more. We also have a Café that features burgers and sandwiches where you can pile on the toppings to suit your taste. We offer free tasting of over 150 products and also offer a wine and craft beer tasting room, current tasting room fee 5 tastes for $5.
A great place to stop and have a quick bite to eat and shop for yourself or friends and family. Olives, nuts, jams and jellies and more. Very nice restrooms. Sample their products and fill your basket for any occasion. You won't be disappointed. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed stopping in our store and cafe, as well as our complimentary tasting bar. We hope to see you again soon. Cheers, The Olive Pit Team!

Most people have tried a Starbucks. I thought I'd review because this one is a great stop if you are traveling down Hwy 5. Even when the line gets long it moves fast.

We had an excellent dinner here. The meal was great and the server was friendly and efficient; just a nice lady. The atmosphere was nice after a table of eight loud, obnoxious people left. Breakfast was also nice. The buffet was the best part of our stay here by far.

I prefer going to this steakhouse over the buffet simply because the food is of higher quality and it's nice to have professional waiters serve your dinner. It's also quiet and a good lace to unwind after a long day's travel!

Small, and I mean I should have sent it back portions. Very pricy and little flavor. I normally don't do bad reviews, this is the exception. My veggi burrito was spinach in a cold flower wrap. The worst part was the staff know the portions are tiny and poorly prepared.

Bartels Giant Burger has been in business since 1975. We have commited ourselves to providing our customers with "Good Old Fashioned Quality" in our freshly made burgers, fries, milkshakes and Malts. We pride ourselves in phenominal customer service.
Not many places do cooked to order burgers. The venue was busy when we stopped in (after stopping at a fruit stand just down the street). Burgers were great, filling and served to order. Fries were tasty and fresh. The peach shake was amazing. It is made with peaches grown in the orchard near by, Worth a visit if you enjoy burgers. Other options available as well.

We were overnighting in Corning and the close dinner choices were the truck stops and fast food. Nothing wrong with that but not what we felt like.
Checked out pizza online and found Marco's. No website but some good reviews. No menu to look at so I just phoned them and found out that they delivered and had a combo pizza we liked. Called the "combination" strangely enough.
It had about 4 kinds of meat, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, black olives, and tomatos. We added pineapple to half. The delivered cost was $15.15 for a medium. This was a perfect size for the 2 of us.
We'd get this again

If you are traveling along the I-5 corridor of California and you want least expensive but good food. Stop here. They have one in Santa Nella too. They have all you can eat or choose from their menu entrée. You will never get out of there hungry. Had all you can eat breakfast in Corning and includes menudo! Yay! This is hangover medicine for truckers. Had all you can eat Fish on Friday at Santa Nella. Comes with soup, salad bar and all the fish you can eat. I like to eat healthy and I asked that the fish should be grilled. Cook did an excellent job on the grilled fish and for $12.99 what more can you ask? Petro Diner is the other name.

We found this fabulous new taco shop on our last trip to the Olive pit, which is directly across the street, and next to the Liquor store. I could tell they were putting out good food by the line of customers with pleasant expressions on their faces. I had the marinated pork tacos and also the beef to give this new shop a good test. The marinated pork taco was the best I've ever tasted. They contained some spice that is tangy spicy but not bold, just perfect flavor. I cannot wait to return and eat a half dozen. Really Fabulous, and quite economical also.

Welcome to McBrayer's Hometown Cafe. My family has been a part of Corning since the 1930's. When the opportunity was made for me to purchase the Hometown Cafe I thought it fitting to name it after my family whom have called Corning Hometown for more than 80 years. We invite you to come and visit our Cafe'. We look forward to making new friends in our Community and to all those who currently support us, Thank you, Jodi McBrayer
Whenever we're passing through Corning around lunch or breakfast time there is no question of where we eat. If you're looking for the standard fast food dining experience that is so common today, go elsewhere. This place is how it used to be. Great food and friendly service. Stop here and you'll think that you've gone back in time to when dining out was an enjoyable experience.
