Plan to cross many bridges when in Cork. Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

Originally we were a bit disappointed we couldn’t find an apartment to rent in Cork for our dates but what a pleasure it turned out to be to stay here. Everything is extremely well done and comfortable with everything you need and more. Kathleen was so warm, helpful and knowledgeable and she gave us lots of information to help us make the most of our stay. A lovely breakfast with lots of choice and freshly cooked to order. We all wished we could have stayed for longer. Highly recommended.

That simple fact sparked our mission to reinvent the hotel. You want to be right at the heart of things. Walking distance to all there is to see and do. A place where you can fall out of bed, and fall into the action. You need the basics. A really comfy bed, a shower with power, a big smart TV, and lightning-fast Wi-Fi. Then we dial it up with industrial interior design, exposed concrete cool, large picture windows in every room and a buzzing bar to make your own. And all at a price tag that’ll make your pocket smile. That’s us… smaller by design. Welcome to REZz. Your place to catch some Z’s right in the heart of Cork city.
I stayed on a weekday and the hotel was still busy. Met a very friendly and helpful reception on arrival, check in was quick and smooth. The bar looked cool and an ideal place to meet people. The room was clean and well maintained. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city. Definitely be staying again.

The B&B is just outside the city centre, so be prepared for a 30 minute walk or pay for a taxi. We had our own bikes, so this made the process of getting to and from the city much easier. There are plenty of bike racks in the city centre, so you're able to lock them up while shopping or sightseeing. The room was well equipped, spacious and comfortable but at €150 per night, this is no more than I'd expect. Our room had access to a lovely garden and as we had great weather, it was perfect to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. The breakfast was very tasty and perfectly cooked and the staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Clon Ross was the best B&B experience we had in Ireland. The staff was amazing and friendly, the Traditional Irish Breakfast was the best breakfast we had out of all the places we stayed. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. It felt more like we were spending the time at a friends house instead of just another hotel. We were never treated as tourists, or as simply "Room #6". 10/10 Clon Ross was simply Grand!

Stayed one night. Ellen the owner was very friendly, breakfast was good, room was very small. We had the same problem as others with hot and cold water. The bathroom had what appeared to be used shampoo and soap bottles.
