We originally only came for drinks but ended up having lunch. We sat outside and ordered a plate of antipasti which was delicious, some prawns and calamari fritti and a lovely salad all washed down with a reasonable white wine. The staff were amazing, as our friend, who is a tad unsteady on his feet fell, and they were so kind in picking him up and helping him. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is right by the beach but the outside seating where we sat faces the road. There is also a pizzeria. The inside restaurant is very clean and bright with views of the beach. We had a lovely time. Not gourmet dining but good wholesome Italian food served by lovely people.

Perfect restaurant for group events. Welcomed by an e energetic lady, a true power lady, we were offered a large table for our group of 10. Initially we intended to take pasta or pizza. However, the owner suggested antipasti, and...we were totally blown away by the quantity (and quality) of the food. All fresh ingredients, yummie! The restaurant is very tipical: family values, somewhat hectic (it just adds to the charm, if you are ok with some waiting (it's holiday, no need to stress!!). The simplicity of food just adds the extra flavour to everything, all no-nonsense, just yum! The wine that was suggested to us, was very good! A nice combination of shiraz and nero d'avola. The only thing that we missed is the panna cotta (was sold out), that we were really looking forward to. Instead we went for tartufo bianco, that was also refreshing at the end of our evening.

The antipasto was enough for a meal. The primi portion was enough for four people - but the cooking varied from average to terrible. The wine list was good but over-priced. Service varied from pushy to inattentive, sometimes seeming to depend on the owner's oversight, but as the evening progressed he was increasingly engaged in conversation with friends or regular customers. This is a very large restaurant, a fact that may have encouraged the musicians to turn up the volume as the evening progressed - to the point when conversation became impossible.

Went in for a light lunch one day. The salmon panini was huge and the filling was delicious. Wine by the glass was not on the menu but was served on request. If we had been staying for another evening, we would have gone back for dinner.

We were staying next door at the Neilson Airone resort, which excludes 3 evening meals from the 'all-inclusive' arrangements so 3 nights we are forced out into the 'great unknown' something we were all looking forward to.We chose this because it was less than a 10 minute walk for the first night, and because it was so good we went back 2 more times. It is excellent.I recommend you book an outside table from late June to early September. It's very popular with locals and Neilson guests.Food and service excellent. Bresaola and rocket/parmesan a firm favourite, all the pasta dishes especially carbonara very good, fish especially the roasted angler with veg, excellent. We did manage almost everything off the menu between 18 main courses over 3 dinners. The only disappointment was the steak with rocket and parmesan which was too tough. Pizza excellent as well. The best sweet was the creme brûlée but they kept running out!Service was excellent, really good, and wine choice good and reasonable pricesNeilson guests - just go here.

A wonderful place to eat, hidden away for the tourist but worth getting the sat nav out and finding it. The staff were very friendly, the pizza's to die for. Even after the floods this summer, they got organised and opened the same day.Reasonably priced fabulous menu, try it! Fabulous. Thank you
