Having worked in hotels for many years I always tend to judge hotels on how their staff are, how welcoming they are and how they make you feel. From the minute I walked in the door I felt welcome, the staff here are the embodiment of hospitality, they had a range of clientele in from tradesmen doing very hard work locally (they were hilarious), business women and men going about their lives and randomers that just wanted sn escape like me. Annette, Jade and Eileen were amazing, and a credit to the industry if I had less integrity i would have tried to poach them to work with me. Is this hotel in an amazing location, no. But if you are in the area and are looking for somewhere with a decent spa, decent food and outstanding staff then book here. To the GM and to IHG corporate as a whole your staff here are a credit

You won't be pressed to find things to do when you stay at Premier Inn Hotel Corby. We're right in the heart of the beautiful countryside of Welland Valley, with Rutland Water nearby, and there are some excellent transport links too. Follow the thrills and spills of two wheels at the Rockingham Motor Speedway. Or the elegance of four wheels at Rockingham's classic car rally every June. We'll make sure you have a great time, with attractions like the lively Corby Cube theatre nearby as well. Then turn the wheels homeward for a great meal at our Beefeater restaurant and extra-comfy kingsize Hypnos bed.
I had 3 rooms booked for a Sunday evening as we were attending a funeral locally the following day. The staff on reception at all times were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, overall a good stay in difficult circumstances.

My brother and I stayed at this place for one night only. However, we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, a great breakfast and an amazing host! The room was very comfortable with stunning views and everything is provided to a high standard,

Our stay at Castle Farm House was predominately to go birdwatching at Rutland Water and to visit friends. However, there was plenty to do in the local area for the rest of our stay. We ate out each night, which was easy to do as there are many old pubs nearby serving good food. We stayed in the Rockingham Suite, which was very spacious with a well equipped bathroom. Claire made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts were great with plenty of choice.

After booking on a whim in Corby for the Supercar Day. The hotel was dark and dingy, at Check in at the Bar the lady let us know that it was a ‘Shared Bathroom’ but no information on this on the booking site. We entered the room and it was tiny with barely any room to move around, paint was chipped and a terrible view out of the window. None of the lights had bulbs in at the side of the beds. No privacy when using shared bathroom as other guests continually tried to enter the bathroom after shouting that it was engaged. The bed was very uncomfortable and has left me and my other half with terrible back pain for the rest of the day the following day, with some weird things happening over the night. I wouldn’t recommend.

The Saxon Crown is a refurbished 1960s landmark building in the centre of Corby town, ideally located for those doing business in the town and surrounding area or visiting the nearby countryside, Rockingham Castle or Rockingham Speedway. Our rooms are luxuriously fitted and contain sparkling bathrooms with relaxing rainfall showers. We offer a complimentary welcome tray in each room, comprising tea, coffee and biscuits, along with a bottle of sparkling and still mineral water. Each room is fitted with an HD LED smart TC and USB plug sockets to keep up with current demands for technology. As with all Wetherspoon pubs/hotels, we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the building, including every bedroom. The name refers to the history of the area: the village of Corby derives its name from Kori, the leader of Danish invaders who settled in a clearing in Rockingham Forest.
Well you book a Spoons and you know what to expect. This one exceeds expectations. The bar, glasses and tops are clean and you can tell there is pride in the place. The tables and floor are clean and the staff are really friendly. It’s one of the best we’ve stayed in. The room was clean and tidy and everything was at it should be, no shabby fittings. We ate breakfast and evening meal there and yes, it’s spoons menu but it’s good standard. Spoons can be a tad rowdy, well this one has excellent security. IDs checked and you can see that the staff know the locals and they know the standards. We were well impressed.

Moat Cottage Barns include the Lavender Barn and Paddy's Barn, both are a welcoming alternative to impersonal hotels ....your own self-contained accommodation set within a beautiful garden, a real home from home. Located in the small, quiet picturesque village of Little Oakley, a delightful rural setting. Onsite parking and free Wifi included.
A very lovely cottage set in a small tranquil village. I had turned up late at night. The hosts took liability for a 3rd-party over-booking error. They put me up in a lovely room upstairs in their home and refunded my payment for that night! And they set out a full English breakfast for me in the morning (Not included in the deal!). I then stayed at the Lavender barn the second night. I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping and the waterfall in the garden pond; to the smell of an assortment of flowers in an idyllic tranquil garden-laden Cottage. Tranquility is indeed medicine for the mind!
