Under new management here. My goat cheese-toasted walnuts-sweet onion-strawberries salad with shrimp was delicious. The strawberry salad dressing was just right. His Reuben & fries were very tasty too. Thanks to the bartender and manager for making our visit extra special with great service and nice conversation.

This restaurant was recommended to me because I enjoy a thick hamburger that is red but not bloody and I was not disappointed. The drink I ordered was great as well. This restaurant is dimly lit and the menu was difficult to read. There were several young families in our area. Unfortunately, my wife cannot eat meat so the menu was very limited and she ordered a salad with chicken. When we requested some bread, an item usually supplied with a large salad in most restaurants, they accommodated her with some stale, toasted, inedible bread and charged us $1.50 for that extra item. This would have been a five star review but when I discussed this with the manager, she did nothing to make us happy. She claimed that the kitchen was too small to provide bread with the salad. We will probably return for the hamburger but it is doubtful the wife will be very happy. Did I mention that the chicken addition to the salad was an extra $5.00?
The service is always great at Chilis and everyone is very friendly. Food was good and drinks were good. Service was fast and we had no issues. We usually make it a monthly trip with coworkers.

We decided to stop here after a movie. We were seated by the door on a very cold night and had to keep our coats on to stay warm. We honestly thought the server forgot us and was about to leave when the waiter finally arrived. He took our order and our appetizer arrived soon after. We had not finished our appetizers when our main meal arrived, so we left appetizers to be wrapped to eat our meals. I ordered a pasta with chicken breast. The pasta was good but the chicken was cold. Very bad as it should have been hot. I stopped and finished the appetizer and finally the waiter came back to check (my husband was finished) and when I told him the problem h seemed dumbfounded. Finally he asked it I wanted to send back. No, at this time I just wanted to leave, so he brought a box to wrap. I am not sure I would waste my time or money to return here.

I ordered take out for my family and went to pick it up. I gave the girl behind the bar my name, she looked and told me that there was no order under that name. I politely told her I just ordered it via phone. She told me I probably ordered it online or ordered it at the wrong Sliders restaurant very rudely, rolling her eyes. Luckily, there was a more experienced and polite woman behind the bar, who told the other girl that she had taken the order herself and it was in the process of being made. She took over and apologized. Still - why do you have a girl who is so rude behind the bar??

Went out last Saturday night we went to D'Amico's with family. We arrived at the restaurant and the place was extremely warm probably around 85 degrees or more. The weather outside that day was probably 95 outside when we arrived. My sister in law requested a table since there was 6 of us. They did not honor her request we got a booth and a chair to sit at end of booth. We had two orders of there tuna sandwich and two burgers . One order was not cooked to request. Also there raviolis and eggplant parmesan. Food was all very tasty. However between the extremely warm restaurant and not getting our request of the table and one burger order not cooked to request. It was not a pleasure to dine there that night. They decided to not change for the under cooked burger order. Have eaten here before and everything was fine. This was not the situation last Saturday.

Our first visit here this year was probably also our last. The problems started when there were only 2 unknown chardonnays available by the glass and neither was a good quality. The steak in the steak salad was very well done and not medium as requested, and was served in a bowl, making it difficult to cut. The salmon entree was also over-cooked and dry, and the risotto served with it was tasty but had a bit of an undercooked, sticky texture. Our bartender provided good service but the food was just not acceptable.

We had passed this restaurant many times because it is very conveniently located to a shopping area and cinema where we frequently go. We wanted to try someplace different for our anniversary lunch so we chose J. Timothy's Taverne. We were very pleased with the colonial pub atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is eclectic -- so many choices! We both ordered the open-face crab melt sandwich with onion straws as the side. Delicious, and just the right portion size. We will definitely visit J Timothy's again soon to try some more of the many tempting offerings.
