Work ordered lunch together again and we went down the street to Vicolo's for take out. My individual pizza (with ham, broccoli, mushrooms and black olives) hit the spot! And for only $10 (a small) it was a great value. Would have loved to sit in the little alley outside to eat, but I wish the website did a better job describing the location- VERY EASY to walk past and miss completely. The breadsticks were also amazing!

We've been ordering from Pinocchio's for years however recently, we noticed a change in customer service and an increase in prices.. or perhaps, in comparison to other local eateries, these prices seem outrageous. A small casear salad with a very small amount of grilled chicken & a sprite was $16, plus tip- CRAZY! We had 2 orders going to the same place and we were charged 2 delivery fees, $2 x2.. and we tipped. We did not get utensils and they forgot our extra dressing, extra sauce and no bread on the side of our salads. When I called, I was told that the delivery fee is not considered to be the tip, rather this is "for the owner" and that I would have to ask for utensils. I had to practically fight with the guy to credit me the $4 delivery charge. WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN

Noisy but friendly atmosphere. Service was slow but on point and friendly. Food was served hot, generous portions and very flavorful. Fried artichokes were a great appetizer as well as the calamari. The lobster fettuccine Alfredo was very generous with the lobster meat. Fettuccine Bolognese was very rich and flavorful chocked full of meat. The small plate of scallops over truffled mashed cauliflower, Came with three large very well cooked scallops and four mussels, only negative was I felt truffle flavor in the mash was overpowering. Chicken piccata was served over spinach and was a very big portion three generous pieces of chicken. I would definitely recommend this place.

Don't expect attentive service at this small local eatery. Orders are taken at the register and you'll probably stand and wait while your food is prepared. Seating is at closely packed Cafe style tables. There's nothing exceptional about the food, but it's not a bad choice if you are planning to visit silvermine art center across the road. I agree with the reviewer who said the owner acts poorly to customers. He once admonished me for asking if there was any soup, since the soup season was over!!! (Who knew one can only eat soup in the dead of winter?)

We ordered pizza delivered to our home. We found it to be passable but not excellent, and it was more costly than other, better alternatives

This place was terrible almost like there was no competent management there at all.Staff was drinking while working. Witnessed kitchen staff come behind the bar and fill three large plastic containers with either rum/vodka and pineapple juice. Emptied an entire bottle of whatever it was - clear liquor - into these containers.Beyond unprofessional.Crazy too since there was more than enough staff there. While the cats away the mice will play.I almost contemplated going into the kitchen and saying something myself.

First off, the place is small. We made a reservation and were seated after only waiting briefly for the party at our table to pay the bill and be re-set. The service was good, pizza was excellent, fresh, hot, good char. The only complaint was that it was loud.

Whether you unwind with a glass of Pinot Grigio at the bar that encircles the exposed kitchen, or linger at a table for two beneath a striking arbor inspired by an Italian vineyard, youâll be swept away by Solé. This sophisticated trattoria, located on El
Have been going to Sole for 15 years. Our familyâs favorite in New Canaan. Love the pizzas and best Caesar salad anywhere.
