My wife and I used to come here every other weekend for brunch. It was by far our favorite place and one we recommended to many friends for brunch. Within the last year though they completely changed the menu and not for the better. When we asked we were told there was a new head chef. There are mostly only lunch items now, the home fries are terrible, and they don't offer the green eggs and ham sandwich and the birds in a nest meal has also changed. The atmosphere is still great but if you're a foodie then I'd sadly recommend elsewhere for brunch. Why fix what's not broken? Hi Mike, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that our food has missed the mark on your last few visits. We did make some changes to try to keep things fresh, but we do take guest feedback very seriously. We'll discuss your comments with our kitchen staff in the hope of making some improvements. We hope that you'll consider visiting us again. -Roobi

Good times, made locally. So we had this idea. That food can bring people together in a bunch of different ways. Neighbors with neighbors. Locals with local ingredients. And bourbon lovers with bourbons worth loving. In 2006, our idea became; b Restaurant
Went for lunch. Lovely hostess and server. The onion rings were like big crunchy bracelets served in a stack of four. Although we usually prefer our fried rings in shreds, these were pretty good. The special Mediterranean salad with a bed of tabbouleh, beets, tomatoes, a few veggies and a skimpy serving of shredded grilled beef was good, but not great, although the tabbouleh was the winner here. Cobb salad was well executed but bordered on run-of-the mill. Not exciting. The unsweetened ice teas were refilled without fuss and the waitperson was very personable. A very pleasant lunch. We'll have to go back for the burgers.

Hartford, CT Restaurant with the Finest Handcrafted Beer, Live Comedy and Upscale Casual Cuisine in an Historic Setting.
City Stream Brewery was an amazing place to have dinner. I had gluten free Mac and cheese which was amazing and my colleagues had burgers, which they said were equally good. The beer menu is decent and the downeast cider they have is delicious. Definitely would eat here again.

Sat at the beautiful bar and the bartender provided exceptional service. Friendly, offering samples, responsive to our concerns. Great tap menu. Food menu was great but food itself was meh...my husband's taco came without the promised pick de Gallo, which the bartender immediately provided. She could not fix the obvious fact that his meal had sat too long under a light. My fish was overcooked. We saw at least 1 other meal go back to the kitchen during our short visit. Beautiful place, great service. .but the kitchen needs workHi BeautifulVox, Thank you for the great review on our service and atmosphere. Vinted is a wonderful gem of a restaurant and bar located in the heart of West Hartford's shopping district. It's easy to access, and garage parking is available right around the corner (pay at a kiosk before exiting the garage). My family gathered for brunch last Sunday, and we had a wonderful time. There was a large group of us, so we made an advanced reservation, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The brunch menu was diverse and delicious. Not one person was disappointed with their meal. It was my first experience of eggs Benedict with lobster - delicious! The service was excellent, with only minor hiccups, as anyone could expect on a very busy weekend afternoon. I don't have a single complaint, and I would definitely return again.

Our only gripe was the size of the alcoholic drinks, although we should of asked if they did smaller servings! Service great, lovely range of sandwiches served with an amazing choice of sides all for around $12 or so. Unique setting with interesting photos on walls. If you live nearby lucky you!

I wish I lived closer I would be a regular at the Grill Room. The chef really knows what he is doing and the staff is very friendly. We often meet local people who eat there regularly (always a good sign). This week we played a course in Bloomfield and left there to eat at the Grill room. You will not find a prettier place to dine outdoors. The menu is small but has tapas, salads, and entrees. And a good tap.

Our son was visiting from overseas and requested that our family of eleven (from ages 65-newborn) have dinner here before he had to fly back. We had a lovely table, good waitress and great food. Salads, burgers, beef wellington were all superb. There were highchairs, and the kids (11,7 and 2) LOVED the mac and cheese they ordered. The only downside was that there was no place to change a diaper in the restroom. We had a nice time.
