just like going back to Vietnam ,we all had pho many different ways they were all great . service was fast .the price was good . don't pass this place up . If I'm any where near Hartford again I will be back .the young lady and here mother go out of their way to make you fell at home.

Small restaurant, but with a big heart. Very fresh ingredients and everything is delicious. Owner usually serves us and is very accommodating with special requests. Nothing is better than a big bowl of tasty soup and noodles. Yum.

I've been eating here for about 30 years and the food has always been good. I just ate here 2 days ago and realized that I have never written a review. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant! The decor has not changed much over the years and it is a very simple, practical set-up, so if you are looking for a fancy looking restauarant, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for delicious, authentic Vietnamese food and don't need fancy decor, then this IS the place for you. Plus, the meals are more affordable ithout the fancy decor. The shrimp rolls taste exactly like my Vietnamese friend's mother makes. I love the Ginger Chicken with Broccoli and the Sauteed Chicken with Lemongrass. Occasionally I have the Chicken over Rice Noodle, Shaken Beef, or one of the soups. They also have plenty of vegetarian options when we dine with friends.

The restaurant recently moved to a clean and brighter space adjacent to the old location. It has more of an airy coffee shop vibe. Much nicer, brighter and larger than the previous location. The menu is authentic and extensive. The bahn mi sandwiches were filling and easy with fresh ingredients. The beef pho was good and filling with plenty of side basil, bean shoots and condiments/sauces available. The large size pho was under $10. There is plenty of free parking. Will go again. Not far from Trinity College and right in front of the A Dong asian market. Not to be confused with the Pho Boston, which is in the A Dong plaza!

I hate to ruin such good reviews but while this was a different experience for us, this place was missing some of our favorite items like Won Ton soup and hot tea. The soup noodles were good, but we have had better and the chicken dish was mostly fatty and grisly dark meat. After dinner I asked if we could have ordered breast chicken but was told it was not possible. The two entrees of Nammy noodles with shrimp and teriyaki chicken were good, except for the dark meat. I was gracious in giving them 3 stars. The service was fine but the place was empty on a Saturday night at 6:30. Dear Guest, Please accept our apologies in failing to meet your menu item expectations as well as meat choices. Please give me a call to discuss the matter further. I have shared the feedback with our chefs who prep the meat and they were told to be more careful during trimming and slicing process. Anyhow, We still wanted to extend our deepest apologies from all of us here at nummy. After getting tired of Vietnamese and taking a break, I recently came back and ordered some carry-out here -- still as good as before. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared, clearly home-made. Absolutely delicious. Having seen some other Vietnamese restaurants that were not so nice, I'm bumping my rating up to 5 stars.

Best Pho for a sit down with family or friends. Our favorite appetizer is the fresh shrimp summer rolls and recently I tried the fried pork strips which you have to special order itâs a cross between bacon and sweet terryaki beef
