Was known as Harbor Park Restaurant, but is now going through a name change and (I believe) new owners. Had a wonderful meal there and would like to post a review.
We enjoyed a pleasant late afternoon out at this casual-but-neat establishment on The Connecticut River, where we were blessed by beautiful weather and a fine view of the waterfront. The classic New England clam chowder offered plenty of delicious morsels of clams, and my shrimp polenta had a nice, aromatic flavor, but the grits were somewhat watery. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, offering to take our picture of us posing in front of a rainbow that appeared across the river. My husband enjoyed his salmon, but it was a rather small strip, measuring 2 inches wide by about 7 inches long. His wedge salad had just enough blue cheese on it.

Several failed restaurants have been in this location before- the newest owners and staff are incredibly friendly, fairly priced, and offer the best menu to date. By far, our favorite Japanese or Chinese restaurant for several towns in any direction. Keep up the good work!

I had been looking forward to going to this Fish and Chips place. It's mostly a take out but that was what i wanted. I ordered the regular fish and chips. I was disappointed. The fish seemed odd tasting and it was quite greasy. It wasn't drained well. The french fies were the frozen type and not good atall.

Just visiting the place we kinda got lost and drove by the restaurant; the name looked appetizing and we tried for lunch. The restaurant was empty and that got us a little concerned but after cruising the menu we relaxed a bit. The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean and there is a flamenco music playing in background. We have tried six tapas and all of them didnât disappoint. The artichokes were presented on a green salad with a lovely vinegrette. The fried calamari are a play of the Rhode Island classic, cooked nice and crispy with 2 sauces, one a classic aioli and one with avocado, garlic and peppers. The chorizo with backed beans had the barbecue sweetness enhanced by cooked figs matching the smokiness and the spice of the sausage. Also remarkable were the garlic shrimp which had a little acidity and spicy sauce perfect for dipping some of their bread. Overall a very good meal, and a place were I would gladly come back, certainly to try their paella.

I have visited this restaurant before, and loved the beet salad so much I was excited to go back. However todayâs experience has ensured I never will. The server (thatâs a stretch) Pam was surly and unhelpful, (she needs to consider a career in a non people facing role) kept disappearing off, we thought to check out our requests (none of which were unreasonable...but did not fit into their policies) we had an 80 plus person with us, she has particular dietary requirements, none of which they were prepared to accommodate....adult mac, cheese and lobster (minus lobster) or mac and cheese from the childrenâs menu....all our enquiries were met with a sullen manner. So for only the second time ever I left without eating...they did charge us for the salad one of our party ordered before things went south, we took it boxed to go.If this continues it will no longer be there when mi visit CT again...however that wonât bother me....I will not be back!

As Iâve said on many many of my reviews, there are three things that are important when visiting a restaurant. Service/Price/Food. This place is actually possibly the most beautiful restaurant Iâve ever seen. Situation on then CT river, overlooking it from like a giant deck. This is definitely a fair weather place to visit, it would be no fun without the sun, but for pure beauty at sunset Iâm yet to seer anywhere that rivals it. I had a chicken burger which was actually really nice sometimes chicken can be dry, but this wasnât and it was actually really nicely cooked. Go, but only when its sunny.
