Pub
The Firefly Hollow Wood Drop is an American barrel aged red ale that has a nice Bourbon finish. It's made in CT. The barkeep was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is warm and modern. The wall art is very cool. Not a foodie stop, just the craft draft look-about. During the week and on Sunday they have good happy hour specials on apps and drinks.

There are a lot of restaurants in the Rocky Hill area but we chose the Wood-N-Tap after much debate as we wasn't sure what we fancied to eat that night. We made a good choice. The waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was fabulous and the price was about right. It was a busy place, but this did not affect the level of service we received. I had the veggie burger and my husband had the classic. Both were great. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Went to this restaurant mainly because they were open late and another restaurant we wanted to go to was already closed. It was rather noisy with mainly young people out on the town. Had the grilled cheese lobster sandwich because I thought one should try a lobster dish while in New England. It was a disappointment. My companion had the Wagyu beef burger which was much tastier. Should stick with their burgers. Our server wasn't particularly attentive or efficient.

Decided to visit chili's for the first time with my mother. The new Mango margarita tasted like juice which took over 10 minutes to receive. Food was good but the wait was very long. Appetizer took about 12 minutes as well. Waiter asked how our food was within 15 seconds of it being on our table (can we try to eat it first?) never took our dirty plates out of the way after eating our appetizer. Waiters seemed a little bothered at the fact we paid cash and they had to grab us change, kept trying to point out the self pay kiosk at the table. I can honestly compare our service to a regular pizzeria at our hometown.

Four of us went for dinner on a quiet week-day night: Three of the four had pork and clams, a Portuguese classic. Primavera's version was served on huge platters on which diced home-fry-style potatoes were used a bed for the pork and clams. While the pork was flavorful, it was also undercooked and tough. The clams, which should have been the size of littlenecks were instead quahogs, not cooked properly and virtually un-chewable. The addition of some of the stewing juices might have been helpful to the overall quality of the dish.A shredded cod salad was inoffensive and not memorable. What were absolutely brilliant were the desserts made in-house, an excellent flan and especially the creme bruleeâdon't leave here without trying it!The selection of Portuguese wines was good although the waitstaff had no knowledge of what they were. Fortunately we did.Service was averageâno complaints. Ambience is home-style and straight forwardâno frills.

First time here for a business lunch. Tried the Connecticut Lobster Roll. I wouldn't have minded paying the twenty dollars if it was good, but the Lobster meat was tasteless. I would try something else if I was to dine there again. Also, the restrooms need attention to cleanliness.

We decided to try something new and TJs on Cedar was it. It was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress Naomi was great. I had the room burger without the rooms. I substituted roasted peppers instead. Cooked as requested was quite good. My wife had the shaved beef panini and the house made cold slaw. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced.
