What we liked about this restaurant is the selection of very unique dishes that do not appear on the average Chinese restaurant. Their seasonal vegetable selection was very interesting and we chose the loofa squash and it was delicious. The heart cabbage with Chinese mushrooms was superb, as was the chicken and cashew dish, and the asparagus lettuce. The shrimp in garlic sauce was just spicy enough and the shrimp themselves were perfectly prepared. The staff is friendly and helpful when negotiating a very large menu with unfamiliar dishes. Very exotic selections: sea cucumber, kidney, pork cheeks, beef tendon and pork intestines. Good food, authentically prepared in a very pleasant laid back environment. We will return.
I have been here several times and like the takeout.Usually get the General Tso or Low Mein.I like some of the appetizers as well.

Had lunch here as was at Foxwoods for the weekend. The lunch special for 15 is great. Includes soup..and large serving of main dish. The food was terrific as was our waiter Man. What a wonderful person...always coming to ask if all was ok..refilling our drinks...

When Kobe first opened my wife and I came in to eat at the bar, when we walked in the bar area the bartender never addressed us and ignored us for ten plus minutes, the bar had about 6 people and his orders from the dining area were slow, the manager finally asked us what we wanted and we ordered thru him, we love the hot plum saki, and as we are huge tuna lovers we always order the tuna wasabi dumpling, this susgi appetizer is worth just coming in go to the bar, and order these with a cold beer!we also ordered miso soup, avacado salad, tuna tataki and then ordered the volcano roll and the two thumbs roll. The food here is excellent, but the service still lacks as our appetizer came out before the soup (we were told they were making a new batch of miso soup but the place was not crowded so not sure about the reason) the entrees came out and we had to have the manager get our soups and other appetizers, he made it right as he did the second time we went there, ordered pretty much the same but the bartending was slow and service again was lacking in the bar area, , but the food is worth it so we would go back...and hope they right the ship in the bar area.

I agree with one of reviewers that they have generic menu, which is actually good. I did really like the service. They were very much accommodating to what seasoning, how much spiciness, and how much meat/vegetables to place, so you can customize it. The food tasted good and not too salty. The place also looked clean and tidy.

Good food choices, reasonable prices and an efficient service model. Kitchen is open with lots of action and their are surprisingly healthy choices such as Steamed Salmon which is rare for a Chinese Restaurant. You can eat-in, but it's walk-up rather than table service. Prices especially reasonable at lunch, a recommended time to try.
