How can you go wrong with 4 drinks, pizza and salad for $42 including tip? We love the place since it more affordable than most anyplace in town, has great pizza (very thin charred crust) and a gorgonzola salad. Definitely not fancy, but very solid and more fun than most places in town.

Experienced a charity event dinner in July. The food was buffet style with fresh salad, chicken and grilled vegetables. The appetizers were unfortunately unappealing... they looked as if the cheese squares and veggies were purchased pre-cut. Staff was friendly and worked hard. Great view of the golf course.

Fabulous service both at bar and sit down. Very attentive staff and generous pours with good selection of beers and spirits. The Dennis pizza was delicious as was their lobster Cesar salad. Fish and chips are very good but the winner is their shepards pies - best I've had outside of Scotland and England.

Just attended a fundraiser evening hosted by the Greenwich Police to support a local charity. I've always liked Sundown Saloon as a place where you can feel at home and enjoy very good food and drink. Their generosity really puts them over the top. Food and service was very good. We expected the menu to be mostly typical American burgers, pot pie, etc but we were surprised by the offerings. The mushroom soup was exceptional, as were the sliders. Main courses, halibut cheek with mashed potatoes, lamb bolognese, penne with shrimp, and tuna tempura disappeared from the plates. Desserts didn't disappoint either. We were also glad that they offer "small" or "large portions".

Visited here a few times with friends, most times the servers were lovely, so friendly and kind, but one time we had a server who didnât care about us, the food came out wrong, over cooked the steaks we ordered so we left a couple dollars as we werenât satisfied, the manager approached us as we were leaving and asked us why we didnât leave a higher tip, told us we were rude and to not come back... I have been back since and not seen that woman... if I seen her she would get an ear full
