Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is the perfect place for exceptional Mexican food. Everything is fresh. The guacamole is made in front of you and the service is wonderful. The restaurant is very spacious. If you have a larger party they can be accommodated but it is highly recommended to make a reservation first.

Plaza Azteca

Plaza Azteca is the perfect place for margaritas and fantastic Mexican food. Their guacamole is wonderful and they make it at your table for you. Their menu is voluminous, they even have many options for vegetarians. I spend a great deal of time in England and their Mexican food is terrible. Coming here was a real treat for me, the food was incredible.

Decided to visit chili's for the first time with my mother. The new Mango margarita tasted like juice which took over 10 minutes to receive. Food was good but the wait was very long. Appetizer took about 12 minutes as well. Waiter asked how our food was within 15 seconds of it being on our table (can we try to eat it first?) never took our dirty plates out of the way after eating our appetizer. Waiters seemed a little bothered at the fact we paid cash and they had to grab us change, kept trying to point out the self pay kiosk at the table. I can honestly compare our service to a regular pizzeria at our hometown.

Cisco's

Hard to pick when there are too many choices you want. Went with the California omelette with avocado and chorizo and was not disappointed. Next time, might ask to substitute refried beans for toast but didn't think to ask. My companions had the hash omelette and the enchiladas with eggs and the table got pretty quiet while we were enjoying our breakfast. Good coffee too. Every time I say...Need to get back for lunch to try the fish tacos.

The food here is excellent! I have never had the pizza, but the grinders are delicious. However, what I get here more than anything is the Mexican food. It is amazing. Everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. The burritos are huge and full of flavor. And the tamales are amazing: smooth, buttery, and just the right amount of spice. They use authentic Mexican ingredients, like Oaxaca and cotijo cheeses, and fresh vegetables and meats. I can't wait to try the other things on the menu! The restaurant is run by a very nice family, so you always see the same friendly faces. It's nice to have this small, family oriented restaurant in the neighborhood. It was originally built as a hole-in-the-wall burger place that was an addition to the convenience store it is attached to, so it is very small inside, with only three or four tables at which to eat, so we primarily get take out. If you like Mexican food, check them out. You will not be disappointed!
