After reading the reviews on this place I had high expectations. Unfortunately this old fashioned roadside restaurant was just average. Bay scallop roll was excellent, chicken sandwich was small and very bland. Oil needs to be changed in fryer. Large selection of ice cream but not handmade as you would expect. I believe it was Giffords ice cream. Overall not bad but I had expected something memorable.

Want an authentic French dining experience? Try Metro Bistrot. The quality and preparation of the meal is outstanding!!! We have been frequenting this restaurant for five years and are never disappointed!! The escargot and pate are excellent! In fact, everything is excellent! .

Beautiful afternoon drive brought us to Frog Rock Rest Area. Was blown away from the different types of food and the best clam chowder I've had in years!!!! Must confess, I had two bowls of chowder! Was totally surprised by the band that performed that afternoon!! Who would of thought such a great rest area would have excellent food and wonderful entertainment!! We plan on going back on our next afternoon drive, probably next weekend!!!Thanks for a wonderful afternoon of good food and entertainment!!

Fins and Tales never disappoints! We spent Thanksgiving Eve there. The food as always was excellent as was the service and there was light entertainment that made it easy to talk but still listen to the music! I highly recommend spending an evening there!
