Had a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend there on Good Friday. I was so impressed and so were my guest that came from Middletown and surrounding areas. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was accommodating and alert to our needs. Certainly going back.So glad you all had a great time, cheers!

South Side Thai is easy to miss even if you know the area. It is tiny and tucked away next to a pizzeria and vape store - it just doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside. Overall, ambiance is lacking both inside and out but the food is very good. When you first enter it looks like an Asian take out only restaurant but then you are brought in to the adjoining dining room. The menu offers many interesting curry, pad Thai and fusion entrees. We found the appetizers to be nothing special but the entrees were very good.

We have eaten at Captain Seas off and on for over 40 years. Last visit was disappointing and the restaurant was not very clean. Tried it again today and was very happily surprised. I think there are new owners. The restaurant, while still a little run down, was very clean and the food was terrific. Both my wife and I ordered cheeseburgers. The patties were freshly formed and cooked perfectly. My French Fries were hand cut and delicious. My wife had the onion rings which are also made in house and excellent. We will return on a regular basis.

A lot of people say that seafood and cheese should never be paired together. Italians will give you a dirty look if you put cheese on seafood. But I've had lobster mac & cheese and it's delicious. And now Lobster Tails Food Truck created a mouth-watering Lobster Grilled Cheese. Two thick slices of fresh bread buttered and toasted and topped with plenty of tender sweet lobster and thick slices of gruyere cheese all melted and married together into a sinful sandwich. They also offer hot and cold lobster rolls, clam strips, hot dogs, fries, poutine, fried pickles, and more.Lobster Tails Food Truck is parked daily on Route 5 in Wallingford across from the bowling alley.
