Went with a bunch of friends for cocktails and dinner. We had some great margaritas and Manhattans, followed by (more than likely) every kind taco on the menu. Each one was better than the one before. Service was excellent and you can't beat sitting outside on a lovely spring evening. The only thing that bothered us was the height of the tables. Having to crouch over to eat was a bit awkward; the tables are more for setting down you drink.Hello,Thank you so much for your 4 star review. One house margarita and you'll feel good. 2 house Margaritas and your mouth will start numbing. 3 house Margaritas and it's a party!!! :). Viva's is a great, low key Mexican restaurant in Westport CT. Food is delicious and authentic. Good chips and salsa as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Went with friends for a very casual dinner. We all had margaritas which were very good. Overall the food was good as well. For a counter-service place, I was pleased with the mole poblano. My friend had a steak burrito that he liked a lot and it was huge. All of the staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure everyone was pleased.

If they could knock $2 off their average menu items, cool the place down a bit, and engage with the customers more, I think they'd do a better business. The food is pretty good but their Mexican competitors are offering similar fresh fare for much more competitive prices, and they are packed.
