Joey C's Roadhouse is a barbecue and Tex-Mex restaurant that serves clean comfort food. We have 15 craft beers on tap and a large tequila list. Our margaritas are made from fresh squeezed lime juice and organic agave nectar, We also feature a large gluten
My wife has celiac disease and, as such, cannot eat gluten or eat foods that have come into contact with gluten. Joey C's boasts a gluten-free menu that has plenty of items to choose from, and the staff is aware of the needs for those who cannot tolerate gluten. We dined there yesterday and while the food was good, if not well-seasoned, the service left something to be desired. Although the server gave my wife the gluten-free menu, and seemed to understand when my wife placed her order, reminding the server of her needs, when the food was served -- by two different servers -- the tortillas looked wrong, but the servers said they were gluten-free. I tasted one and it clearly was a flour tortilla. It took a couple of minutes to find a server who then took the tortillas back, returning with corn tortillas and multiple apologies. We've dined here before, both when my wife was not yet diagnosed, and once since, and generally have had good service. Yesterday was, I believe an exception (they were not very busy). So for those of you who need gluten-free menus, Joey C's is a good place for Tex-Mex. Just double-check with the server when you are served your meal.

Sister restaurant of the Bistro Basque next door, this is the more casual venue but the food and service very good. We enjoyed a few tapas style plates with a couple of entrees to share among our group of 8. Braised short ribs were excellent but no complaints about any of the choices we made. Friendly and welcoming made the experience all the better.

The best south of the border eating north of the border! Authentic Mexican food, locally owned, and employs knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. With a live Mariachi band on the weekends, it looks, sounds, feels, and tastes authentic. Don't miss the Guacamole cart where they prepare it to order tableside. With reasonable prices and large portions, you won't go away hungry! This is our go-to Mexican restaurant after trying numerous others in the area.

The food was yummy and great service! The 2 girls that were working this shift were fantastic! I ordered a chicken soft taco and it was so fresh and delicious!! I forgot to write their names down, but the2 employees (female) were late teens/early twenties, very upbeat and friendly. We shared some laughs, it was a good break in my drive to NJ.
