Weâve come here pretty frequently over the years but I was very disappointed this time. We asked for skinny margaritas and they came in very tiny wine glasses. They ended up costing $24! We ordered street tacos on flour shells and they came to us as hard corn shell tacos. When I told the waitress she asked if we wanted her to get some flour shells. Totally screwed up our order and charged us full price for everything. I would definitely recommend Guacamoleâs in Branford instead. At least you can get a pitcher of skinny margaritas there for almost the cost of two here.

Took a friend for his birthday here. He normally enjoys the near-by Jalapeno Heaven but we thought we'd try a different location for Mexican food. We were not disappointed! We were seated quickly and our waitress arrived shortly after to take our drink order. Since it was a birthday celebration we ordered a pitcher of margaritas. The Guacamole's Famous! Upon arrival, we sampled the drink and were pleased. A nice balance of citrus, sweetness and tequila and NO mixer. Worth the cost. Next came our tableside guacamole. No need to say it was very good but possibly a bit dry. We add a bit of the red salsa on the table and fixed that it no time. Just right! BTW, chips and three types of salsa on the table. All the salsas tasty and unique. My friend had a burrito that he said was very good. I ordered the Chamorro Pibil. A lamb shank marinated in wine and baked in banana leaves. No need for a knife, this meat was fork-tender, fall off the bone. And delicious! Service was overall very good and I would certainly go back. Be aware the parking lot is small and you may need to park a short distance from the actual restaurant.
I like visiting Moe's Grill in my travels. I spotted the Branford location when I went to shop at the Kohl's department store next door.I like the freshly made choices of burritos and tacos. Their prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.

We stopped in for food. They literally forgot about our order. The staff were walking around screaming at each other. It took one of the kids in the back to finally ask what we were waiting for. The manager was clueless ... the place could have been on fire and she wouldn't know it!
