First dosa spot we've tried in this area, so my relative rating for this place may change over time. But having come from Toronto, this place falls a bit short.Dosas are pretty good. The taste of the sambhar was a bit different than I'm used to...couldn't put my finger on what exactly the difference was. The 'masala' in the masala dosa was good. Chutneys lacked depth. Didn't care for the rasam.Service was friendly, although a bit slow in coming by the table at the start and at the end. Food itself came out in a jiffy.$45 for 3 people including tip, so reasonably priced. Good central location. May visit again, but only after trying a few more places in the neighborhood.

There are many places to eat along this restaurant row in Stamford, and you might easily miss this relatively small storefront, and that would be a shame, because there's some amazing food to be eaten in here. The chef/owner knows his way around some creative, flavorful recipes, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and eager to make sure you have a great dining experience. GO HERE - EAT - BE HAPPY.

Mind you, everything I've heard about the place is that it is inconsistent - which implies that I happened to be there during an up-cycle.But boy, what an _excellent_ up-cycle!The "Nellore Chapla Koora" was fiery - Andhra fiery - but without losing any depth or complexity. The tandoori chicken was...unctous. That's the only word that appliesThe kheema naan had an _excellent_ lamb filling. And the raita was appropriately cooling ex post factoMind you, we _did_ order a bottle of Sula Sauvignon Blanc, which turned out to be the weak link. It may be great when one is in Bangalore, but here, go with something else :-)

Indian doesn't get any better than this $24 for a couple at lunch with amazing selection of Indian food. Fresh Naan to table and love sitting in the second story looking out into the city of Stamford. Great for business casual lunch. Quick in and out and food was succulent and well prepared. Go when they first open at noon and get fresh cooked food without a ton of people around. As we left at 12:35 started to get more busy. Simply excellent!
