This is my favorite place to go after I leave Salâs barber shop. Food is always prepared well and is delicious. This husband and wife team work well together. Prices are comparable to others in the area. Portions are reasonable. I continue to visit Johnnyâs on haircut days.

The bistro is a wonderful place to sit and relax and eat a delicious and healthy meal. Everything is made fresh with locally grown organic ingredients. The prices are reasonable for what you are getting. The fresh baked goodies are sooooooo good and goes well with a cup of the yummy fair trade coffee. Oh yeah! the smoothies are unbelievable. Love the Bistro! So if you want to do something good for yourself, your local farms, U.S. You can't go wrong eating with the Buddha.

I was passing through Waterbury on a late January Sunday, and stopped to visit the Bunker Hill neighborhood where my mom grew up and I visited my grandfather as a boy. While walking around I stumbled on Third Day Cafe just off Bunker Hill Avenue on Windsor Street across from the park and the church. What a find! I enjoyed a wonderful cappuccino and hearty sandwich that set me up for the long drive home to DC that afternoon.Make a point to stop here. They apparently have live music, too. I hope they build a solid business, as this is a real asset for the neighborhood.
