When visiting Colchester, my office team usually orders Toyo for lunch. Toyo has a wide variety of Asian cuisines including Thai, Japanese, and Chinese. During my last visit I ordered the Basil Chicken with brown rice. The Basil Chicken was extremely flavorful and had very fresh hand cut vegetables. The brown rice was cooked well with still come chew to it. The springroll that comes with the combination was bland.

I met two friends at this restaurant - it was my first time there. I was impressed upon walking in to find it very comfortable and clean with many booths and dining tables available. Crispy fried noodles accompanied with a dish of sauce and a pot of hot tea were served right after we sat down. Our server was friendly and took our orders within 5 minutes of our arrival. Our dinners were sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli and moo goo gai pan - all good sized portions served with rice of your choice and soup (ours wonton) (salads are available) and a really delicious egg roll. All entrees were very good size and tasty. This being a small country town, there were many other groups of diners on this mid-week night - it was nice to see that. I would visit this restaurant again and do recommend it to others..

The service was impeccable and the food was delicious, as good, if not better, than the food at another Asian restaurant in town. The wait staff were willing to seat us at an extra large table as business was slow on this particular Sunday afternoon. The extra space was essential to managing one active 14 month old and his 3 month old brother. The bathroom was clean and provided the much-needed changing table. There was even a long hallway space ideal for my older nephew to test out his new-found walking skills. Glasses of water, iced tea, and beer were readily refilled and the leftovers packed without any ado. It was an enjoyable lunch for all.
