Bobby B's provides an authentically, flavorful West Indian culinary experience! The food is well-seasoned-- not too spicy and not too salty. The prices are very reasonable. Bobby's attention to detail and his desire to please his customers are greatly appreciated!! A "must visit" when in the area.

I enjoyed eating Stew Chicken, Peas & Rice & cabbage as take out! There was more then enough food in my food tray for the price I paid. The food tasted amazing.This restaurant is small but the food is loaded with great flavor! The parking isn't that great but the location is great due to it being down the street from Seaside park!

We went to Shandal in Bridgeport and were pleasantly surprised. He had a dozen different items to choose from, including two pastas, two or maybe three vegetable dishes, a couple of different rice dishes, four very different protein dishes, and fried plantains. The proteins included a very yummy (but a little salty) lima bean dish with tofu-skin, a great barbecue/jerk flavored tofu, a very tasty tvp based chicken with red peppers, and a yummy tofu and scallions. For $7 you could choose a plate with four of these, or for $9, you could choose six. Between the three of us, we had all of the proteins and the pastas and some of the other sides. I liked all of it, and the portions were good-sized and a good value.
